99GMC 4WD JIMMY. AOTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WON'T
Gabe maybe right. This transmission has several electrically activated servos that tell the transmission when to shift , according to how fast the vehicle is moving. At best, you may just need to replace a servo, at worst, you may need a rebuild.
Since the vehicle is 15 years old my guess would be the latter, not having any first hand knowledge of what else may be going on.
Miss fire on 1999 g m c danalie ruff idle
A more detailed problem description would yield you a more specific/helpful answer.
I'd suspect dirty fuel injectors if your tune-up is recent. A clean fuel injector sprays a fuel pattern into the fuel delivery system. A dirty injector will only squirt the fuel thereby causing an improper spray pattern causing a misfire at first then worsening if ignored.
No spark to sparkplugs
check ignition fuse and coil. if the plugs are not delivering fire, that could be the problem. best luck to you!
What causes wiper to go off windshield suddenly while in use?
Wiper arms have a hole at the end that fits over the wiper drive shaft and is secured by a nut. If the nut is loose the arm will not move predictably or will not move at all when the motor is on. You will also be able to move it by hand. This nut and shaft are covered by a piece of trim that can be pried up. It pries from the edge opposite of the wiper arm.
GMC jimmy key stuck in ignition, steering column
It sound like your shifter linkage is worn and your ignition interlock is not making it into the park position. I'm not 100% sure on jimmies but my GMC Sierra could be adjusted on the steering column under the hood. It's just a rod through an eye with a bolt. Put the transmssion in park and loosen the bolt and twist the column until the indicator is in park, retighten the bolt.
How do I bleed the brakes after replacing a brake line?
the wheel that the line you replaced is where you start. make sure the master cylinder doesn`t get low on brake fluid. crack open the bleed screw and have someone push down on the pedal and when the pedal is at the floor have them hold it down and close the bleeder. have them release the pedal and repeat until you get a solid stream of brake fluid. then go to the opposite wheel and bleed that wheel cylinder, again until you get a solid stream and a firm pedal.
Horn wiring diagrams
Well, you should have two horns - one above each wheel well inside the front fenders. Since replacing the relay didn't fix the problem, the most probable cause is the horn switch in the steering wheel assembly, although wiring under the hood could also be a problem as contacts at the horns are prone to corrosion. You could check the horns by connecting 12V to one of them, but because of the airbag in the steering wheel, you should leave pulling the steering wheel apart to a certified shop.
