Sounds like you need an engine overhaul-complete

Auto parts stores stock exact length brake lines now. You may have to measure. Your best bet is to get it off and take it with you. Remember you will have to bleed the system to be sure no air gets in the line.Be sure and call for parts availability before removing the brake line.
