My truck is running hot
How hot is it running? Does the temp gauge go all the way to or past 'H'? When it gets hot does it boil over either into the overflow or on the ground?
- Check for water in your engine oil by looking at the color of the oil on your dipstick. If it is white or creamy looking you may have a blown head gasket.
- Check for oil in the water by removing your radiator cap (when the engine is cool) and see if there is a noticeable amount of oil in the water.

Drain the fuel out, and put fresh fuel in. Prime the engine with some fresh fuel, and try to strt it. the fuel we get now has no chemical savers in it like it use to. Gas will turn into turpentine after a year or so of setting.

94 nissan pick up 2.4L; Heater doesn't blow hot
Sounds like either you are low on coolant, the thermostat is faulty or your water pump has broken impellers causing poor circulation. Usually when a heater core goes bad, your passenger floor will be wet (because of leak in core) and you will have residue on the windows and a noticeable change in the amount of coolant in the reserve tank. If the thermostat is stuck closed you will have only what antifreeze is able to circulate between the engine, heater core and overflow tank as it will not be able to pull in antifreeze from the radiator. best bet is to look for leaks after verifying a full tank, then start with the thermostat( the most common) plus its the cheapest fix ($2-$6) for the part.

My dash is not working. No dials are working at
It is possibly just a fuse. The fuse must be in the main fuse box. The position and function of the fuses is normally marked on the inside of the fuse box cover and also in the owner's handbook. If you don't come right with these, work your way through the fuses looking for a blown one. To ease your search the instrument panel fuse should be around 10 to 15 amps.

I have a 1994 nissan truck with a bad head gasket
Check with a local salvage yard, as they have the Hollander interchange info, that tells what will swap with what. Make sure you offer a little comp for their trouble, as this information costs them money to have! If you are lucky, and it does swap, make sure you remove the pilot bearing or bushing from the hole in the rear of the manual trans engine"s cranckshaft, as it won't mate up otherwise. Good luck, and feel free to contact me with any other questions!

1994 nissan truck. Suddenly headlights, although
probably you dont have enough power generating from your alternator which charging up the battery. or maybe if your Alternator is good but your battery is dead slightly. but batteries dont die easily coz some cells still working but very poor to produce enough voltage and current.

How to replace head gasket in a 1994 nissan hard
Your best bet is to purchase a Chilton or Haynes manual for that vehicle first nad read over it before getting your hands dirty, it has a timing chain which you will need instruction to realign, the rest is removal of intake and exhaust manifolds and head...bit more to it than that but, if it were overheated you may have to have the head machined, and pressure tested for cracks(aluminum) and use proper torque with NEW(recommended) head bolts, let me know if that helps OR if you need better insight
