you do not need to replace the thermostat because you are not getting heat. what you need to do is to ensure the heater coolant control is operating to allow hot water through to the heater core.. If the thermostat was faulty you would be overheating or the temp gauge would not be getting of the cold mark.

The problem will probably be corrosion holes behind the water pump impellor. The water passes into the sump from these holes.

sounds like the block is plugged or the head-gasket is bad. Have you had the block power flushed? check for water (dark milky or foam) in your oil.

It shouldn't matter then. The pressure line will go from the pump to the gear box. And the return line will go from the box to the reservoir-that is, if the reservoir is separate from the pump. If reservoir and pump are together and you cannot tell how it fits, well, one is a pressure line and one is a return line, but if both the same, it should not matter. Sorry, I'm talking in circles.

Yes you can but expect an error in speedo reading as you are decreasing the circumference of the tyre meaning it turns faster to cover the same distance.. The 195 is the rim width The 75 is the profile height of the side wall and the 14 is the rim diameter in inches So smaller profile size ==lower car= wrong speedo reading. You can use this information to change the rims IE go to 15 inch rims so the tyre reading would look like this 195 35 15 would be about the same as 195 95 14. By lowering the profile size you can go up in rim dia size and still retain the same speedo readings and car height.. Talk to a tyre shop to get the idea.
