99 silverado when I take off motor revs up but
if it was the rearend it would bang or clunk when the teeth meet. check fluid in trans, i assume its auto? if so check for burn smell on dipstick. if brown that means your clutches burnt. if still red but bad smell try changing filter and fluid. a complete flush is better but more expensive at a shop. if brown your too late and prob need a rebuild! ask a trans expert

Random misfire.Fire it up at night and look for arc over in the dark- you should see a lot of it. You might see some carbon tracking during the day, but you WILL see most of the instances of arc over- which is energy not going to the plugs. Do not try it in a garage unless you have a garage door set up for it and extra fresh air coming in elsewhere.

P1345 code
DTC P1345 - Crankshaft Position (CKP) - Camshaft Position (CMP) CorrelationThe most likely cause if you have replaced the cam position sensor is
the distributor is out of time. You MUST use a scan tool with a data
stream capability to properly set the timing on this engine. Access the
data stream and find the cam ****** offset reading. It should be 0
plus or minus 2 at 1500 RPM. If not within spec, then the distributor
is out of time. loosen the hold down bolt and rotate the distributor
until the reading comes into spec.NOTE: the value will not change on
the scan tool until the engine is reved above 1500 RPM so make an
adjustment and rev the engine. This is the only way to accurately set
the timing on these engines. If you need additional details about action taken when the DTC sets (PDF format document), contact us in the previous fault code link.Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate

1999 silverado service engine soon light blinks
Don't confuse the Check Engine Light with the maintenance or service
light. These lights illuminate when a routine service is due. They are
usually triggered by mileage, gallons of gasoline consumed, or some
other type of vehicle-use measurement.Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate

I HAD DTC P0171 nd p0174 my truck is 1,500 5.7 engine can toy help me o n this one
the three failure codes you retrieved point to a vacuum leak from intake side of engine, check intake manifold with some engine starting fluid sprayed from outside around all sealing gaskets and if engine speed goes up or down noticably that would be your leakage area, also the mass air flow sensor being dirty would cause tthat and last a faulty fuel pump, not giving enough pressure but ok with volume amount, both p0171 and p0174 indicate a lean condition from each bank.the p0300 is random misfiring of cylinders, not one particular, it is a by-product of a lean burning condition.
My 2001 silverado pickup truck sounds like it out
Check your fuel pressure it should be 60-66 psi with key on engine off.If you have anything below 58 psi replace the fuel pump and filter, because the pump is weak.It takes at least 52 psi to open the poppet valve inside the injector to allow fuel thru.
My 2002 cadillace escalde sometimes
Yes it does. A good indicator is a light on the dash that says "security" or looks like a car with a padlock thru it. Here is a link to help you with this
