We recently bought a 2004 Nissan Quest. Needless to say that we never checked if the CD player worked. Well it works but will not eject the CD left behind from the previous owners. That's ok if we want to listen to Dave Matthews the whole time we own the car but we much rather play some of our own CD's. Any idea how to fix or remove CD player from console so as to remove the stuck CD. Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks!
2004 nissan quest bose cd player 6 disic would not eject or play cds. Also, when you press cd button it makes "beeping " sounds.

Hello, my 2004 quest with 53,000 miles suddenly started to buck and sputter when I come to a stop. Prior to this there was no warning of a problem. When the car is not in gear it still runs rough so I do not think it is transmission related. When accelerating though the van shifts hard from first to second. At mid to high speeds the van runs fine.
Thanks for your help,
Chris

We need to replace front control arm bushing. It is told that Nissan only offers whole control arm and no replacement bushing. Is there any way to only replace the bushing? Whole control arm is expensive an not needed.
Thanks a lot.
Sorry guys not a solution but I too have an 04 Quest, which supposedly has worn controller arm bushings and Nissan says I need both controller arms replaced. For a total of $950!!! I was told that they need to replace the whole arm and cannot replace only the bushings. Now reading the posts on this site I find that to be untrue. Seems all I need to spend is anywhere from $25 to $35 per bushing.

My right sliding door won't close. It gets half way and then thinks it hits somethign and opens back up. It does this about half of the time. There is nothing blocking it either.
Is there a way to shut off the safty sensor or fix this
Mine was doing the same thing. I took it in and watched them fix it and first they steam cleaned the area under the floor where the rollers are. Then they took a spray and lubricated the rollers and the track where the rollers are. then they cleaned the brass connectors on the side of the door where the safety pins touch. I could have saved ALOT of money doing this myself. I hope this helps!

2 days after i have my 2004 nissan quest changed oil, i started seeing "service engine soon light. then when i turn on the ignition, the car starts stalling. after 2-3 times of starting the car, it will turn on but the light stills appears, then the TCS OFF and SLIP lights also turned on . it has50K miles. please help. thanks.
The oil change wouldn't cause this problem. Just in-case, check the engine oil level.
There are many emission sensors in the car that will make the engine light come ON. Best way to find out what's going on is to have an auto-parts store hook up a engine code reader and tell you what the code means. Most auto-part store will do this for free.

where is the camshaft positioning sensor located in the 2004 nissan quest
Your 2004 Nissan Quest is most likely to be equipped with a 3.5L V-6 engine. This engine has 2 Cam (PHASE) sensors. One is located in the back of each cylinder head. You must remove your intake air duct to see them.

2004 nissan quest. tcs off and slip light came on. loss of acceleration and now won't start. front breaks were recently done, and was sent back in due to knocking and grinding in the front breaks/wheels.
When they did the brakes, the mechanic damaged one or more wheel speed sensors, and they are expensive. The anti-lock and traction system now think that one or more wheels are not in time with the road constantly so the computer has put the light on and is likely running the vehicle in limp or reduced power mode.
I would take the vehicle back and give them a chance to make it right, but if you have any hint of more problems, or they start saying it was like this before, go to the dealer and have it checked out. If the dealer says they damaged something, have the dealer repair it and then chase the other shop for the money. Not fun, but this is a safety issue.

Hi, Did you look at the fuse pannel. It should be a small amp fuse 10A.

my guess is that the problem comes from the moonroof because when I open it after the rain and press down on the flat piece that tilts up and down along the front side of moonroof I feel water in that goove. I don't know if it's supose to let water sip thru there. I don't see any mean by which that water will drain outside.
there should be drain holes that lets the water drain out check for them their most likely clogged
