1997 Nissan Sentra when it rains water leaks in on the passenger floor somehow behind the dash Maybe

Don A has an excellent answer, but if you have a sunroof, that is more likely the reason. The pipe runs down between the door pillar and the windshield and there is often a join there which can part. Be careful with compressed air as it can blow joints apart.

Where is intake air temperature sensor at on 1997 Nissan Sentra

have you cleared the codes? then see if they come back. When you fill with gasoline and the pump clicks off, DO NOT keep pumping trying to get another $.50 of gas. This is what causes liquid gas to enter the charcoal canister and ruin it, it was designed for gasoline vapor recovery.

'97 sentra wipers stop at different places on the glass. Is it the motor that's faulty?

remove both wiper arms, turn off the ignition. Set one arm on the spindle at the desired postion. Test the sweep of the wiper with the ignition on. Check for looseness of the spindles ( wheel boxes ), refit the second wiper arm in the correct position, checking for looseness , if all seems ok retest with the ignition on.

The seeet smell is antifreeze. You have a blown head gasket or intake gasket.

Hi, how are u all,

Normally the fan will not come on until the temperature is high enough to open the thermostat then your fan will come on. It sounds like it's working the way its ment to. When you turn the a\c on the fan will come on to keep your engine cool.

1997 Nissan sentra DOHC 1.6 liter dual timing chain, upper & lower timing chains where r the timing marks supposed to be positioned to in order to perfectly be in time

I believe you have to make your own marks before you remove the chain so you can line it back up. I just checked on alldata and thats the only thing they showed about timing marks.

I have a 1997 nissan sentra and when you turn car off the lights stays on in dash and kills battery any ideas as to what vould be wrong.

Removing ignition key is supposed to kill the power - I would check out that switch.
