1996 Nissan 200SX Questions & Answers
96 nissan 200sx started and ran rough for 10 sec
something to ponder over here as iam not sure what could be the problem here but if its a weak spark then it could be module /coil/crank sensor in that order .These problems will not show up as fault codes i dont think as they are working but not to full efficiency
My 2000 nissan sentra's air bag light stayed on for over 10 min.
A new battery is not a solution, have the old one charged first and then test it, more than likely the charging system for the battery is the likely cause. Have the charging system tested, it should have at least 13.2 Volts DC at 1000RPM with the headlights on high beam and AC/Heater blower motor set to high speed.

Were are the fuse for a 200sx for the brakelight
The fuse block panel is located in the dash, driver's side. Most cars have schematics on the fuse panel cover detailing the fuse size and/or circuit component it operates.
In absence of any specific markings, go to the owner's manual that came with your car- a detailed diagram will pinpoint the exact fuse.
I recommend using an Ohm meter with tone alert to check the fuses- this way you don't even have the pull the fuses out to check them. Makes for a very simple and quick method of determining the fuse's condition.
You could also check inside the engine compartment where the power distribution box ix located to check for any blown fuses or defective relays.
If all the fuses are good, then you need to replace the bulb.
How do I remove the lower front control arm on a 96 Nissan 200sx
put on jack stands, remove tire, remove brake caliper and bracket, detach outer tie rod end, remove axle bolt, remove hub bolts from strut, tape on axle with hammer to remove it from hub, loosen lower ball joint bolt, use fork tool to brake joint loose, remove hub and bearing, remove stabilizer links, remove bolts on lower control arm, replace every thing in reverse
Bypass the Fuel Pump
do not bypass any EFI fuel pumps on any car.
if you do the car will catch fire, and persons in car and ever other cars
will get hurt or killed.
the pump must shut off if spark is lost, MUST MUST MUST !!!!!!
or crash and burn is your future, i promise.
if bypass , you meant (and not said) that you read the FSM
and they did a 5min hot wire test to the pump to see if the pump
runs and makes over 30psi, then do read the FSM and do make sure
you do it correctly and safely and dont not burn up the ECU
by hotwiring its pins, (a $500 to $1000 blunder for sure)
