Where do wires for 2000 blazer power drivers seat run?
If you have power to the motor and wont move then replace motor, if not they usually run under the door plate, common cause for erosion. the under side gets rusted away and lets in moisture, check fuse and relays, also make sure the battery small wire to ground is intact and making good ground connection. Older vehicles lost power to seats without this chassi ground
Hard start cold, fine rest of day
I would be checking to see why there is power to the pump with the ignition off as this is a source to flat battery overnight.. May be a relay is still activated by a power source other than the ignition.
Where is the bcm in a 2000 chevy blazer 4dr 2wd
Body Control Module (BCM)
Lower rear of the IP, on the heater
Removal Procedure
Important: The ignition switch should be in the OFF position when connecting or disconnecting the connectors to the BCM. Always disconnect the Brown BCM connector FIRST and connect the Brown BCM connector LAST. The BCM can set DTC(s) with the ignition switch in the OFF position.
Remove the left instrument panel sound insulator from the vehicle. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
Remove the center instrument panel sound insulator from the vehicle. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Center in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
Disconnect the electrical connectors from the body control module.
Bend the 2 snap retainers back slightly and pull the body control module from the bracket at an angle.
The body control module (BCM) must be programmed with the proper RPO configurations. The BCM stores the information regarding the vehicle options and if the BCM is not properly configured with the correct RPO codes the BCM will not control the features properly. Ensure that the following conditions exist in order to prepare for BCM programming:
• The battery is fully charged.
• The ignition switch is in the RUN position.
• The data link connector (DLC) is accessible.
Follow the instructions on the Techline Terminal and scan tool to program the BCM.
If the BCM fails to accept the program, perform the following steps:
• Inspect all BCM connections.
• Verify that the Techline Terminal and scan tool have the latest software version.
2000 Blazer. No power to the orange wire for
The orange wire is the power wire for both seats. It gets its power from the power seat circuit braker (20 amp) located at the body relay block. It is located behind left side of dash near fuse block. Remove circuit braker and check for power in body relay cavity that you pulled the relay out of if power is on one side change circuit braker and if no power on either side then you have a bad main fuse near battery or under hood in main fuse block. I have a 2001 Jimmy
How did u add the transmission fluid? Did you just fill it to the marking on the stick? If you did, that's wrong.
Engine has to be at operating temperature, then filled to the hot marking. The transmission shift has to be moved through all gears including reverse, at least twice. Then the vehicle should be taken for a ten minute drive..do u have any DTC codes?
If you overfill a transmission, it can have the effects you have... try removing some through the fill tube using a suitable piece of clear plastic tubing...cheers.
2000 blazer climate control
Did you check the cables/wires on the AC controls behind the dash? Make sure none are loose, and/or the wires are all the way seated. If it's computer controlled, you might lookup the instructions on resetting the computer. Some you can just disconnect the battery for five minutes, others that causes issues for.
Good luck and let us know if it helps.
