could be the alternator , voltage regulator or drive belt adjustment

Depends but sounds like one of two things to me. First and foremost it sounds like a bad torque converter. Was this replaced with OEM or upgrade when the engine and trans was done? Have you check the transmission fluid? Is it the proper fluid? Proper fluid is extremely important in proper operation and 99% of the time people put the wrong fluid in. It could also be a transmission filter whether external or internal unfortunately.... does it show any check engine lights? I would imagine if it did you would have posted that because I've seen mass air flow sensors make cars act weird like that but to be honest it sounds more like a transmission issue. Hooking up a fuel pressure gauge an seeing if the fuel pump is in fact charging the fuel system . Checking the electrical circuit , fuel pump relay , Instead of guessing as to what the problem is , Test ,Test an test . If you do not know how to do automotive electrical testing there are videos on youtube . Basic Electricity for Service Techs Ohm law Current Flow Opens Shorts When you turn the key on ,not start , the engine computer will energize the fuel pump for a few seconds to prime the system . The fuel pump will not be turned on again if the engine computer does not see a signal from the crankshaft position sensor . Instead of being fixated on the fuel , check for spark . if your fuel mixture is too rich, your catalytic convertor can overheat and even start to melt. If your fuel becomes contaminated or your exhaust system fails to perform correctly, you may also see symptoms indicating that your catalytic converter is clogged.A bad oxygen sensor, dirty mass air flow sensor or an engine misfire will also cause this. Make sure the oil filter is fitted with a return valve, some after market filters don't have this valve, and the oil drains back to the sump when stopped, It takes a second or two after starting to build up pressure with type of filter, so there is a rattle.
You will probably have to bleed the injectors or injector rail. Look for a bleed screw on the injector rail or loosen the injector lines to bleed out any air . Some fuel pumps have a priming bulb for this reason check to see if your vehicle has one.

sounds like you may of blown a fuse. I would check the fuses and make sure they are all good if one is bad I would try to find what caused the fuse to blow.
