My 3 liter engine turns over but will not start.
No,but why remove the battery? You will need to have power to start your troubleshooting and testing to find the no start issues. Any loss of RAM memory will be relearned when you start driving again.
The local Nissan dealership said my key was no
Most likely if your key is worn out ,so is your ignition cylinder.You can by a new lock cylinder ,but they are expensive and cost around $100-$200.I would find a auto salvage yard,give them your v.i.n. number,production date(on sticker drivers door),make and model.See if they have a used cylinder or a complete steering column that you can remove the lock cylinder from.Make sure either one has a key that is not worn.A used column should be around $65 to $90.Good luck,hope this helps.
Fails to start when engine is warm.
your starter is located on the passenger side remove the small wire and have some one turn the key when this problem is happening if you have power its the starter,if no power replace starter relay.

I copied this directly out of my manual.
Starter removal:
1.
Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery. On models
equipped with a V6 engine, raise the vehicle and support it on
jackstands.
2. Remove the wires from the starter solenoid. Label the wires and terminals to prevent confusion during installation.
3. Remove the starter motor mounting bolts.
4. Lift out the starter motor and solenoid.
5. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
How do i pull off the starter on my 1991

1991 Pathfinder rear wheel bearing replacement.
According to my owners manual, you have to remove the entire brake assembly and pull the axle shaft to replace the bearings. The bearings are pressed in and require a special tool to remove them. Not a job I'd take on myself.
