If your door locks are not working and your cigarette lighter is also not working the fuse is burned out. On my 2001 astro van it is #13 in the fuse box under the steering wheel. I have replaced mine and so far no problems. Good Luck.

The power for the data link connector is from a 25amp fuse Number 7 in the IP fuse box. As long as the check engine light is on the computer has power.The main computer power is from two ECM fuses in the box near the battery.The fuse locations should be in the back of your owners manual.

Is it possible it's up inside the fender well area? I've seen vehicles where you have to pull down the moulding above your tire to access the antenna

Spray carb cleaner or starting fluid around the vacuum lines with the engine running. When you hear the engine rev up, you have found the area with the vacuum leak.

Blocked exhaust... (muffler or catalytic converter) Sadly the only way to prove it is the muffler shop... or buy that can of liquid wrench you always wanted... soak the nuts above the catalytic converter... loosen it all up... and then try If it runs... looks like a tough job ahead taking the sump off ?...motor in the engine bay could try undoing plenty and lift the body up if you cant get clearance under neath with motor in the engine bay motor will have to come out if trying with motor in the engine bay lots of drive train in the way .. undo engine mounts support the motor .... even lift motor a bit for clearance from steering gear and chassis ,suspension etc to get the sump off cant tell if it covers AWD 2001 Chevrolet Astro Manuals

Could be the lockout not sensing its in "Park".can you get the starter to spin by jumping the starter terminals? if so, its in your ignition system somewhere.

seems u have a blown head gasket or cracked head!

im assuming its a awd? if so remove front diff to get it off you need car on lift

have the system checked to get a trouble code then you will have a better idea where to look

Brake Warning Indicator The instrument panel cluster (IPC) illuminates the brake warning indicator when the following occurs: ?€¢ The body control module (BCM) detects that the park brake is engaged. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the BCM requesting illumination.

?€¢ The EBCM detects a low brake fluid condition and sends a class 2 message to the IPC.

?€¢ The IPC performs the bulb check.

?€¢ An ABS-disabling malfunction also disables dynamic rear proportioning (DRP).

ABS Indicator The IPC illuminates the ABS indicator when the following occurs: ?€¢ The electronic brake control module (EBCM) detects an ABS-disabling malfunction. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the EBCM requesting illumination.

?€¢ The IPC detects a loss of class 2 communications with the EBCM. sounds like you have an intermittent problem for now ! a wiring issue or wheel speed sensor going bad. Need to check for codes in abs module , that will give you an Idea where to look first. These systems can set a lot of codes, component codes , wiring codes etc... need to know what code first.
