drivers side top of the transmission bell housing. usually can be accessed from on top behind left cylinder head.

I would like to help, but I could use a little more info. Mainly, what pressure, fuel? oil? boost? Thank you, please re-post.

check bttery and cabbles

ck thermostat - cooling system may have air in it - what service did you most recently have performed?

check the fuses if none are blown then the motor is probably worn out

remove and replace the fuse its probley no good ,if not the wireing some where is faulty so just remove the horn fuse all togeather : )

maybe you have to change the Mercedes W140 Central Door Lock Vacuum Pump

Check your oil. If water is in the oil you have a bad head gasket.

more than likely you have a faulty switch

Drain the fuel completely, replenish with gas, then flush out the entire fuel system... Diesel does not work in gas engines. Hate it when this happens...

I had a similair problem on my 600SEL 93, I read many articles and they were all bad news. When I checked the transmission fluid, I found out it was under a lot of pressure but the level was fine. After that the problem was gone.

You should not have an OVP relay. Few things to check. Find your computer for the ASR and see if the fuse is blown on it. Also make sure there is slack in the accelerator cable, if it is snug it will initiate a limp home mode. Also replace all barrel fuses with copper ended fuses and clean corrosion out of the fuse box. When you find the ASR module if the fuse is good in it and with all that does not reset it, replace module and check rear end sensor and front wheel speed sensors.

I had a chevrolet cavalier once that had a clogged exhaust. i was driving and the catalytic converter fell apart, and clogged the exhaust system. I completely lost power, and barely got home. Try getting your arm under the car, and hit the catalytic converter with your had, or a mallet. If it has fallen apart and failed, you should hear a clattering sound. Try inspecting the whole exhaust system, looking for bends in the exhaust pipes. When my catalytic converter failed, i also heard a hissing sound when it was running, and the engine was slightly overheating because of the restriction in the exhaust.

there is either no freon, or ac compressor can be bad.

ASR means Acceleration Skid Control. It is not a problem.

1) It is normal for the wipers, in rain sensor mode, to cycle once upon startup.

2) In rain sensor mode, the wipers should be intermittent with the cycles increasing as the volume of moisture increases on the windshield. The speed will increase until it reaches the continuous slow speed of position 2 on the switch. It will not increase to the fastest speed which is position 3 on the switch. You have to go to the fastest speed by manually rotating the switch to postion 3. Doesn't seem like a design flaw to me.

bad ignition lock needs to be replaced the ignition lock unless there is damage to the key itself
