coming from the starter you will have one going to bttery and one going to alternater and should have one that goes to the relay or solinord to the best of my knowledge

Remove dash and replace mini bulbs that light up dash.This is an older car just needs new bulbs.

When your service engine light comes on it means the vehicle monitoring system has detected any number of conditions that could cause problems such as low oil pressure , a bad oxygen sensor, a misfire etc. You can take it to most autopart stores who will use a code reader to

locksmith? pop the bench part of the back seat out like you are looking for coins, then unscrew the bolts you find holding the back of the seat to the car. now lift the seat back up and out. cut through any fiber board with a knife and get a kid through the hole into the trunk with a light to get your keys.

It could be several things. It's quite possible that lack of use has made them hard to open. If that's the case then a little penetrating oil and some gentle persuasion will get them working. The top butterflies work on vacuum so you will have to push on them by hand.
It could be that the vacuum pot on the front passenger side of the carb is not working properly.It should connect by a short vacuum line to the top of the carb on the same side. Unplug the hose from one end, stick a finger over it so you don't lose vacuum. There is a long rod off the back of it that goes to the secondary's that should slide when you unhook and hook it back up.
The linkage on the driver's side should move the lower butterflies. Work the throttle linkage by hand, with the car off, and see if they will open. If they don't then liberally spray the linkage with something like WD-40 and work it back and forth. Spray both sides of the carb at the base and in the middle to lubricate the shafts for the butterflies. Work the linkage and spray and it should free up. Make sure that someone hasn't bent the tab that pushes the secondary's open, out of the way.
If the carb has been worked on lately, especially the choke linkage there are lockouts there. If the choke linkage has been taken off and put back on, these lockouts may not be in the right positions. There is a small tab that drops down when the choke is engaged but it can flop around if not correctly installed. You will need a diagram to get the linkage on properly. Most any rebuild kit for that age carb will have a picture of it.
These are your most likely problems. Hope this helps.

If the car dose not make any type of noise when you try to start it is is a power issue and you should check your battery and wiring to make sure there is no lose wires. if it dose make some sort of noise please respond with what type of noise it makes and I will do my best to point you in the correct direction.

One end will have a hole, that's the end that goes in first.

You need to replace the Brake Light Switch which is located on the upper brake pedal arm inside your car. You can replace it yourself, just unplug it from the wiring harness, remove and replace.

mcdevito75 here, under the distributor cap is a white retangle shaped ignition module it has a plug of about 4--6 wires to it that could be bad, no way to test and just the part cost $20-- $35.00 and you msay need a metric nut driver set to change it. Have your local shop do the job. If you belong to a mpotor club AAA towing may be free.

Can you be more specific? Have you replaced the battery or tested your alternator?

Sounds like a bad wiring connection in the egr circuit.

The fuse box is located under the hood on the driver side near the fire wall - once you remove the cover turn it over and this will show you where the fuses are that go to the tail lights.

Also please check your owners manual and also - take down the vin number - call the local deal and ask about any safety recalls. They will many times replace a fuse for nearly nothing - just to get a look at the car for reference.

Remember that some safety recalls can save you thousands of dollars and are good for the life of the car - they are associated with the car vin not the owner so no cost to you.

fuse should be in fuse box under the dash on driver's side. It should have a label under the cover. The relay should be located in the"fuse box" under the hood. It should also be labeled.

you need to find someone with an old type scan tool,or one that has an adapter for the older cars to read the codes. you can also do this by jumping 2 wires on tha obd connector and count the flashes. the first suggestion is the best. get the code and get back to me and we'll go from there. hope this helps Thanks Ray

If your vehicle is equipt with a serpentine belt, there should be a black sticker upon the radiator support with the routing diagram written in white.

Most likely it is on top of the intake. v6 is 135246. v8 is 165342
