I have a 94 Oldsmobile cutlass and the locks don't
I would first make sure that the locks are the problem before jumping to replace them. Check for power and the lock actuator before you do any thing make sure there is power there before you replace a lock solenoid. If there is not power at connector for lock solenoid when pushing the button then you must trouble shoot the system to find out why or you will have new locks that still dont work. youy can buy a chilton manual but they are very vague on some items.

Need to kno where crank position sensor is located
assuming it's a 3.1 it's about 1/2 way up the block in the rear of the engineabout midway between clys.2 and 4. Have to get it from underneath probably.it's about 2 inches long but all you can see is the very end with a connector clipped to it.Held in with a single 10 mm bolt and it slides out of the block.
