Where is the low pressure port on the 2002 Buick century?

Firewall side. This is a 3100 engine? Been a while, but it is located passenger side, firewall, behind the engine. Not the best place but it is what it is. It may be covered in black soot to have camouflage it just look carefully. If you're just charging the system, and it is empty, replace the schrader valve while you're there - it's an old car and those valves are cheap I don't remember if the century came with a 3800 but if so it is directly on the firewall.

Where is a ecu air bag module located on a 2002 buick century

Without looking it up, I'd say it's under the center console, usually. If not equipped with a center console, should be under the middle area of the dash, mounted to the floor either way.

Why is my trac off light on

It is the anti lock brake system. First, look at the ABS. It will come on for a bad wheel sensor or broken wire. This will also throw the trac light on. ABS is on because the computer senses the one tire is trying to stop or lock up. this releases the brake pressure. On the traction light(which should also throw the ABS light), one tire is spinning faster that another. This can happen on gravel, sand or snow/ice. When you turn the key on, do you have an ABS light on, then goes off? Same with a trac light. If you do, then you have a bad wheel sensor. Scan it and replace it.

Why is my trac off light is on

You could either have a loose connection that is not letting clear communication happen, or you may have some type of malfunctioning part or sensor.

How do i fix ser vehicle soon, anti-lock and trac off lights stay on

It needs to go a scanner. To check for codes and to see what isn't working right. The service could be as easy as a gas cap, worse case a transmission. The abs could be a wheel sensor/hub or a broken sensor wire.

How to reset abs light after new hub

In some cases, it's actually a bad ABS wiring harness, not the hub bearing that is bad on the Buick Century that causes the ABS light to illuminate. Back to your question, a scanner that has ABS, an Actron Brake Scan or Tech2 can reset it.

On a 2002 Buick Century car what if the "Low Tire" light comes on but your tires are not low?

Often times driving the car will reset the TPMS system. If it persists, it may need one or more tire pressure monitors replaced and reprogrammed.

What does it mean with the Service Engine soon light comes on?

It means the ( PCM ) powertrain control module or engine computer saw a problem in the engine control system or evaporative emissions or the transmission. If the light is flashing it means the vehicle has a problem that could hurt the catalytic converter . If it is on steady it could be polluting 1.5 times greater then the federal limit. Or your gas cap mite not be tight. There is a (DLC ) diagnostic connector under the dash , right or left side of the steering wheel near where your knees would be. different for some make cars. It is used to hook up a tool to check for codes in the engine computer an scan engine data. If you just put cleaner in , maybe you didn't tighten it all the way. If that isn't it some auto parts stores can check and see what code is stored it the computer !

2002 Buick Century Heater Doesn't Turn On

replace the blower motor speed control resistor 1st then the blower motor if the resistor doesn't fix the problem. Below are instructions to replace the resistor.

The blower motor resistor is located on the back of the blower motor housing under the dash on the passenger side. It can be difficult to get at, but it is doable. Be ready with the ibuprofen the next day for your sore back. Remove the cover panel from beneath the dash on the passenger side. Unplug the power 'ribbon' wires leading to the resitor. Unplug the wires that lead from the resitor to the blower motor housing. There are usually two, one black and one purple that share the same plug. Remove the short hose that leads from the blower motor housing to the ventilation system ducts. Remove the blower motor by removing the three hex screws that hold it in place. Remove the resistor by removing the three hex screws that hold it in place. The resistor is right against the firewall so two of the screws are very difficult to reach. A slender flexible socket extension will make the job easier. Attach the new resistor in place using the same hex screws. Only 1 or 2 of the original three are needed (the part is very light) if you do not feel like fighting with the ones next to the firewall. Reatach the blower motor and reconnect the hose. Plug the power cable wires back into the resitor and the wire from the resistor back into the blower motor.

Disengage airbags Buick century 2002

Find the fusebox, on the back of the panel covering the box, there should be a list of what each fuse does. Find "airbag" and pull the fuse out. Wait AT LEAST 45 mins after doing that to work near the airbags because they can hold a surface charge. When in doubt, unplug the pos terminal of the battery and again wait 45 mins. When inside the dash, any bright yellow wire is an airbag wire. Be gentle!
