Replace clutch pedal
take the steering wheel off . remove drivers seat . crawl under dash and unbolt the pedal from its pivot point . installation is the reverse of the removal
First gear very snachy gets a little better when
Check the gearbox oil level. There's a bolt with a sealring on the side of the gearbox. Open it and stick 1 finger downwards. If the're is no oil there - change the oil. It must be the gearbox oil as specified in the manual - otherwise it will shift very stubbornly in cold weather.
When opening the oil draining bolt on the bottom of the gear box, immediately inspect it for metal parts when it comes out. Try not to touch the top side before inspection - it's usually a magnetic bolt to collect metal parts.
Its normal to find a mushroom shaped bolt full with tiny metal particles. Big metal parts are cause for concern.
Got in and started like normal, a tiny twist and
do you still have power? if no check for loose battery cables or main fuse
If yes do you get spark ?if no check for pulse on crank angle sensor with a lab scoope ,but you can test both wires going to the coil check for a pulse while cranking
now check for all grounds on body
check for fuel relay maybe grounding
Headlight covers will not retract
either the motors are stuck or you have a short to the motors ...//..or something is obstructing them such as ice if you live where the snow is ?
if no ice and snow then i would suggest trying a test light after inspecting them 2 screws 1 on each side of the bezel will remove it and allow you further inspection space and better access to use a test light for power to the motors that allow them to operate
also consider power to the switch itself .a blown fuse ?
