Tail light not working
Check the fuses which are usually under the dash. Your owner's manual will tell exactly where it is. When you take off the fuse box cover it should have a diagram showing which fuse goes to what circuit. There will be one that reads rear taillight assembly. I have had bulbs that look good and still did not work, so don't rule that out after you check the fuse. Hope this helped.
Reset check engine light
To reset a check engine light you have two options. You can use an OBD II scanner(They can do this for you at most places like autozone, oriellys, napa for free. You just go in and ask them). The other option is to disconnect the battery for 1 minute and then reconnect. This should clear the light. This will clear the check engine light but only if the problem causing the check engine light is fixed, otherwise the system will detect the fault again and the light will come back on.
Sqeaking when accelerating
Possible loose mounting bolts to crossmember from transfer case. It also could be coincidental. I'm sure the shop who repaired the transmission would double check it for you.
