In the under-hood fuse block, there is a START 1 relay that provides power to the solenoid. There is a START circuit breaker (30A) that goes thru the closed contacts of that relay to activate the solenoid. The relay coil is powered from the PCM IGN Fuse (10A). All are located in the under-hood fuse box. See attached circuit diagram for assistance.

Did you check STOP LP fuse 15amp. in the rear fuse block ? Do you know where this is. Fuse Block - Rear Under the rear seat, on the left side of the floor pan. The STOP LP fuse in the fuse block - rear supplies battery positive voltage to the normally open stop lamp switch. When the driver presses the brake pedal, the switch contacts close. The battery positive voltage flows to the left stop lamp assemblies, to the right stop lamp assemblies and to the center high mounted stop lamp (CHMSL). The left stop lamp and the CHMSL have ground at G402. The right stop lamp has ground at G401. Did you check for power at the stop lamp switch ? both in an out of the switch with brake pedal pressed ? Hi John: I'd probably remove the bolts that hold the seat to the floor, then remove the seat. Chances are that there is an obstruction in the rails that the seat frame slides in. Jelly beans, old socks, change. Get it clean and it should work fine.

No it won't. When the light comes on, there is a problem. But the system is disabled. It also won't come on in an accident.

No.. If air bag light is on, it means the airbag system is shut down and will NOT deploy in the event of a collission. You will need to have the codes scanned for the airbag system to determine the problem and repair as necessary

When the anti theft system was created,the dealers forgot to tell the new car buyers about how much the fob matters to the vehicle,without it,owners are stuck,your anti theft device is activated,you need to lock and unlock your doors a couple times with the key fob,not the key,and then you need to put the key in the ignition and start it,if you dont have your key fob,call your car dealer to get a new one,they are programmed for each car only,you cannot bypass it.if you lost your fob or never had it,whatever,you need to have the exact fob that came with that car from the factory,the key and fob have a chip in them that only go to that certain car,if you do not have it,then you need to buy a new one from the dealer or ebay and then you need to contact your dealer about programming the fob to your car,you might not have to have it towed if they have the documents from the car,the only other way is to get a junk car,with the steering column,key,fob and all computer boxes and door locks and switch them,i just did that with a 98 dodge dakota,and it works.

1) Could be the charging system (alternator). Get the car running, jump or charge the battery. Next, measure the voltage at the battery. With the car running, this should be 13.7 to 15.1 volts. If it's less or more, then you will need to replace the alternator/regulator - one unit. 2) Could just be a poor cable connection. Remove and clean the battery connections - large cables. Make sure they are properly attached, then try starting again.

Like I said earlier, it should be in the power distribution center located under the rear seat, but I have never had one go bad. It is always the starter, which is located under the intake manifold.

best done on hoist, splash shield has to come off , tranny cooler lines are in the way, very tight work space would not recommend trying it on your back in the driveway

They make a special harmonic balancer puller, an auto parts store will have it.

Hazard and Turn Signal Flasher Replacement Remove the left knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console. Remove the left IP endcap. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement Gently pry outward on the rear edge of the IP outer trim cover until the retainers securing the outer trim cover to the IP retainer disengage from the retainer. Slide the IP outer trim cover rearward until the tabs on the front edge of the outer trim cover disengage from the IP retainer. Remove the knee bolster compartment by pulling past the holding tab (1) and lifting up. Unsnap the knee bolster by pulling down and rearward to remove from the vehicle Remove the hazard and turn signal flasher module (1) from the I/P carrier. Disconnect the electrical connector. >
