Cruise control is not working. I checked the fuse
Hi Mark, I had similar problem on my e46 compact. There are probably many possible causes. Mine was a faulty wheel speed sensor. You will need to read the fault codes. There is a brilliant mini bluetooth OBD2 device that simply plugs into the cars OBD2 socket and links via bluetooth to your smartphone or tablet. A free app from the Google Play Store called Torque Lite will the talk to the vehicle computer and tell you in plain English what the fault codes stored are and what they mean. In my case the rear offside wheel sensor had failed which also caused the ABS to become inactive and also the ASC light to come on. Oh BTW, the mini bluetooth OBD2 device is about a tenner on ebay. The OBD2 socket is located above the drivers knee and is similar is size and shape to a scart socket. I think the socket has a dust cover but mine had been broken off already Best of luck. Brian

2002 BMW 325xi, doesn't start after oil change
It sounds like just a coincidence. I dont know what a GRR noise is supposed to mean. It either Cranks, No Crank, or it Cranks but does not Run. Just tow it to a qualified shop and find out what the problem is.

Have 2003 325i has started stalling when I press the gas peddle
Most common problems on E46 is fuel pump and vacuum leaks from old hoses. Get a wireless OBD adapter and OBD Fusion code reader app, read the trouble codes and freeze frame data. If your long term fuel trims are high (>10%) then it's running lean and likely vacuum leak.
Fuel pump should be replaced with an OEM Siemens/VDO brand every 100k miles.

12/6/2010 2003 bmw 325xi: Key does not manually
If the key turns in the lock, but does nothing, then the linkage has become disconnected or broken. The key is mechanical to the lock and the lock has a electrical switch to operate the central locking unit. Could be a simple broken clip from the lock barrel. Hope this helps
