the PCM does all that.
so those pages are bingo
no engine told. ok
3.6L V6 if USA car.?
if you do cars all the time you learn that the schematics are not simple like 80s back.! (newer cars have like 3 to 10 computes now. ECU/PCM /TCM/BCM and more.
so have many pages, on that connected IGN and spark. and stater, no problem told so not telling that I can not guess what pages matter to you.
your PCM runs 6 cop coils (all 6 dead?) COIL Over PLUGS.
use ckp and cmp sensors that make that happen. and timed.
the car may have IMMO secuirty keys, and if key lost or bad
the IMMO goes dead killing dead, spark and fuel.
never have just one key
some have battery in the key dead. look?
the users guide covers all that key jive.
no problem told, my car has 7000 page factory service manual and 100s of pages just on PCM and related pars.
100s
sorry not posting them all.
2007 saturn outlook no a/c when idling works fine when driving
Check cooling fan operation and clean condenser/radiator. Just like the A/C system on a house, a car's condenser needs cleaned. It is subject to a lot more debris and contaminants because it is driving around in it. Use just a garden hose, no high pressure sprayer and spray through the grill as well as from the engine comparment to the front to wash out.
Where is the factory amp on a 2007 saturn outlook?
The factory amp is located underneath the steering wheel - just to the left, behind the panel below the steering wheel. Its a small rectangular box with about four wire clusters connected to it. If I can dig out my service manual,
Decreased power and service stabilitrac
Most likely a bad APP (accelerator pedal position) sensor. You're basically gonna have to replace the entire gas pedal assembly... But it's super easy (so long as you know how to use a socket wrench), so don't freak out. The assembly is held on by two bolts & connected to the computer through a wiring harness. I've seen new assemblies go for anywhere from $60 all the way up to $120, so shop around. Or, if you're comfortable buying used, find an Impala of the same year in a salvage yard and yank it out of that. Simply remove the two bolts that secure the assembly to the floor pan, then disconnect the wiring harness (you may need a philips head screwdriver or something to help remove the clip that keeps the wiring harness securely connected). Pull off the old assembly, put on the new one, bolt it down to the floor pan & reconnect the wiring harness (don't forget to put the clip back in). In some cases, the code will need to be cleared using an ODB-II diagnostics tool (any mechanic or dealership service department will have one & it only takes a minute to clear it), but sometimes it resets itself (this happened in my personal situation). Once the code is cleared, the warning messages & lights will stop popping up on the dash & you're good to go! Hope this helped.... Good luck!
2007 saturn outlook, charging system light came on while driving, now car wont turn over and has power
When the light comes on, stop driving. It could be the alternator burned out, but it could also be that the belt broke or came loose. So you risk not only ruining the battery, but also overheating and ruining the engine.First check the belts and batter terminals.Loose or corroded terminals will also make the light come on.Now that you have allowed the battery to discharge, you need to put it on a charger and bring it back up to full charge. If you try to avoid this by jump starting the car, most likely you will ruin the alternator even if it was not already bad, because a bad battery will take more than a normal alternator can safely put out. Then put a voltmeter across the battery. It should read 12.5 volts. When you crank it there should be a drop to about 10.Then when you rev the engine, it must go over 14.If not, the charging system is not working and if there is no loose wire or engine ground connection, you will have to try replacing the alternator.
Outlook hesitates alittle in the morning when accelerating
Hello
The
Engine and Automatic Transmission (not applicable to manual
transmissions) in this vehicles drive train are fully electronically
controlled by a computer called the PCM and TCM (Power Train Control
Module, Transmission Control Module). When a problem like this or
other drive-ability related problems occurs the computer stores a
record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions to this,
like the fuel pump, engine coolant temperature sensor and MAF sensor
for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read
these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a
special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform
the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s)
DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL A TRAINED TECHNICAIN HAS DIAGNOSED
THE PROBLEM TO AVOID SPENDING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON PARTS THAT
MAY NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM. Also always check fuel pressure for
correct spec for your make and engine type.
