I have a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix when I go to start the car my trunk pops open and the car won't start. I shut the trunk then the car starts. What could be causing it to do that?

Problems like that are a nightmare to know why, and are either fuses missing and causing strange issues, or modules not doing what they are supposed to do. Take the vehicle to a good auto-electrician, his Pro Grade $5,000 scan tool will pinpoint the reason.

Changed intake gaskets on 2008 grand prix 3.8 liter. Ran great and then after engine got warm, he low oil pressure light came on and started ticking. Why?

Or the oil you have supplied it with is completely the wrong viscosity (most likely, or your oil feeder rail is contaminated with gelatinous old oil, which is blocking rail holes this preventing the lubrication of all moving parts, final option is the temp & pressure sensors are malfunctioning also due to oil not reaching the correct destinations mainly due to viscosity so can't build pressure or because the oil rail is clogged preventing proper circulation. I hope this helps, regards Jem

Why do my headlights come on by themself?

Sounds like the automatic light sensor is acting up, Or the light switch is intermittent and bad. Also there is a relay in the fuse box that can stick causing the lights not to Go off. Check that. But I suspect the light switch itself because all the lights get controlled there. Good Luck, Bill

How to find the lock relay. the automatic lock does not work - and the inside button will unlock but not the doors. The remote sounds like it is locking the doors but they are not locked.

Really need the year make and model...but most relays are in the underhood fuse box. Do any of the doors lock? Did they all quit locking at once? Have you tried the other lock button?
