Why will it not idle properly
The first thing that needs to happen here is to have the system control module scanned for fault codes and check the signals from the ECT sensor and the MAF sensor, they may be out of range/spec and that will cause idle stability issues.

4.0 V6. Why does it have a rough idle?
This can be normal. A rough idle can be caused by numerous things. Usually a vacuum leak is most common. You may also be experiencing a misfire. Have you scanned for codes that may be stored to aid in this repair?

Fuse box diagram
You can find a diagram by using the Web search. Title the search "2007 Ford Explorer Sport fuse box diagram". Then pick out the best results. Some will be mixed in a collage of various cars and some will be specific. There will also be youtube videos showing detailed repairs. This is the easier search. Another search is done by going to the autozone website and down to the help section. There is a pay part and a free part. This is why the first method is easier. Fixya is different than you might imagine. Each Expert is independent and that is why resources can be inadequate. There are some Experts who have the documents at hand and some who just know where the info can be found. Some questions are answered from experience, but a printed document diagram like you need requires computer skills some of us older Mechanics have no training to get into this system.
I am sure you will find what you want. Using the Web search will give you a choice of many links versus any single diagram I could possibly send. There are also free copies of the Owners manual that should show what you want.

Drive shaft out cant separate cv joint to change support bearing
They pull apart. Sometimes you have to encourage them with a hammer. Hit at the yoke/ U joint. Once apart, cut the support bearing off with a cut off blade (1/16th inch) If you don't have the tools to do the job. It is better to pay a shop than have to replace the drive shaft.
