engines don't jump time the ticking can be a problem hydraulic lifter or faulty rocker the smoking cab from cracked /failed valve stem seals as they dry out and crack if they were working at all before the extended shut down you could have an injector rusted up internally

you have a number 5 cylinder misfire code. three possible causes-spark plug is bad, coil pack failed, or fuel injector is plugged up or has an open wire. good luck in pinpointing the culprit!

Starter motor is located on bell housing on transmission bell between engine and transmission either on right or left side close to the flywheel.. Park your vehicle on level surface, Use wheel chocks and set the parking brake. Disconnect positive battery cable and set it on side...Jack your front end of the vehicle up and use jack stands to secure it. Using creeper slide yourself underneath the vehicle between front wheel and front driver or passenger side door. Find the bell housing and there will be starter . Remove 2 or 3 bolts probably 1/2" size or 13mm and remove it. Disconect red and black cable and remove it from underneath of the vehicle.
