You have a faulty starter solenoid. It is part of the starter though. It may be a 'refurbished unit' which just means a clean and check over.

Press and hold the AC button at the same time as you press and hold the recirculate button. Hold for 5 to 8 seconds. They are on the side of the engine block, there will either be a pipe plug or a sensor in the threaded hole(s)

There's no switch, I have a hunch the problem is in the fuel tank. If you fill the tank all the way to the top does it still do the same thing? Does the tank take as much fuel as it used to? There may be a crack in the neoprene hose that connects the fuel pump to the tank module. I hope this helps. Take care.

If only the DIC screens on your cluster are going dim or blank despite adjustments on the backlighting knob near the main headlamp switch, the problem is internal to the cluster, and it can be fixed by an electronic service center. The other option is to have it replaced and programmed.
If the DIC buttons doesn't seem to work, remove the DIC connector and check the black wire for a good ground connection. You may also try removing the IPC fuse at the underhood fuseblock for 20sec while the igntion is off. Then reinstall the fuse and turn ignition on, and recheck button functions.
Another option is to diagnose the DIC inputs and cluster operation using a GM scan tool. It can monitor better the signals from your DIC. The scan tool may also reveal some codes that can be relevant to solving the problem, like a wiring or a component issue.

I may have a simple fix. I have an 03 tahoe with the same problem. Somehow I found out that the compressor would kick on causing air to blow. When heating the truck up hit the compressor "snow" button and it would start using heat at 78 degrees. This may not work for all but it worked for me. I might be a a/c control panel problem. the p0300 code is misfire dectected on you engine. check for the misfire using scanner tools.

Hi, the axle has a drain plug at the bottom, removing this plug allows all old fluid to empty, put the plug back in, and tighten. fill back up with 2-3 qts of 75 synthetic weigt oil. Good luck...Coop

There is not a fuse for just those lights. It controls the whole panel. The lights do have a history of burning out. They are easy enough to replace but pulling the instrument panel out. You can even get LED's for them now. There is a guy in Winnona Mn who has these along with the sync motors that always give trouble. To remove, pop the instrument panel trim - don't do at -20 four screws in corners take out. Pull out instrument panel - disconnect plug in the back. A couple of tabs hold it tight remove instrument panel Go inside and disassemble till you can see back of circuit board Remember to remove needles carefully - don't bend or break Un solder current light and solder in new ones Re-assembly in reverse Hope that helps - Also this guy in Winona MN will do it for you

The 4X4 system is controlled by a electronic control module . Can set a number of DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's . Having the vehicle check for DTC'S would be your best bet ! Not at autozone or advance or any parts stores . They can not pull these code's . Need a factory or professional scanner . Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop.
