2007 Chevrolet Aveo. No spark and no codes.

If your 2007 Chevrolet Aveo is not producing spark and there are no codes being displayed, it is possible that there may be a problem with the ignition system. Some potential causes for this issue include:
  • A faulty ignition control module
  • Defective spark plugs or ignition wires
  • A problem with the distributor cap or rotor
  • A malfunctioning crankshaft position sensor
It is also possible that there may be an issue with the fuel system, such as a clogged fuel filter or a faulty fuel pump. I recommend having a mechanic diagnose the issue in order to determine the root cause of the problem and recommend the necessary repairs. It is important to address any issues with your vehicle as soon as possible to avoid further damage and to ensure your safety while driving.

2007 chevy aveo 5 hatchback. Bought the harnes for a new sterio and wired both new harnesses together. no dash lights or tailights work. Now the security system won't turn off.

YIKES!....It's time to reverse engineer your work. Disconnect the work you did and reconnect the wires as they were before you started the project; make sure you take your time. Once that's done, check to make sure everything is in proper working order- to original design. Get yourself a wiring diagram specific to your vesicle year, make, and model. Identify an mark the wires accordingly. Identify and match up the wiring harness of your stereo to those of your car's wiring...if you still have a problem, you may have incompatible stereo wiring to that of your car's or you'll need to bring it to an after market car sound system installer who knows the work-around, to get it installed properly. Time to shell out the $$$

The immobiliser for my Chev Aveo has been activated & I dont I don't know how to bypass it.How can I deactivate/bypass the immobiliser. Im stuck and have no money to pay auto-electricians.

If the battery is dead in the key fob then the following will help you 1. Remove the screw from the back of the cover and open the cover of the transmitter. 2. Pull the transmitter out of the cover and carefully detatch the sticker from the unit. 3. Remove the battery and replace it with the new one. Make sure the positive side of the battery faces up. Use one three-volt, CR1620 or the equivalent. 4. Attatch the sticker and put the transmitter unit in the cover. 5. Put the two halves back together and replace the screw. Make sure the cover is on tightly, so water will not get in. 6. Test the transmitter operation.

CHEVROLET AVEO ABS PROBLEM???

Most likely one of your ABS Sensor is faulty which return a false value on the system and leads the activation of ABS by itself that is mainly wrong. Better have someone to scan the system. But for me its the ABS Sensor, worst case is the ABS reluctor ring having a crack (hope its not the ring, this will cost a lot).

Help I a Chevy Aveo 2007 I have lost the use of the following: no power windows, no ac, no dashboard lights, have unplug horn so alarm is not continuously going, barekt have headlights, key will not r

Sounds like the Body control module has an internal fault/failure. I am not sure as I have not worked on GM for a while, but it seems with so many systems failing at the same time that it would point to this module above all others. Like I said, it has been a while since I worked on GM. I would recommend getting a schematic if you are unwilling to get a professional diagnosis and start back probing connectors. Even if you are able to diagnose this yourself, Most BCM are defaulted and require Region/Country programming. It varies from manufacturer to manufacturer
