Sounds like battery Charged is low and you might be low on oil or computer might need to be reset on instument pannel.

sounds like brake switch for shifter lock isnt working. UNDER BRAKE PEDAL there should be a cable that leads to the shifter in the mess of wires. make sure its fully connected. If not then unplug and reconnect that should fix if not then issue is at shifter end

you may try to isolate the TPS and IDLE and MAP inputs from the fuse box make a direct connection from control ouput to the fuse box this operation will require a professional technical

have scanned to find problem code, if no scanner any auto parts store will scan for free. because you do not what to change the sensors if not bad! have scanned.

a 2007 shouldnt need a new seal.
i would adjust the door in a pinch.

My Aveo eats headlamps too. My guess is that because the daytime running light system uses the headlamps at 80% brightness (so the lamps are always on) the lamps just tend to wear out faster than on other cars. My lamps usually blow when I switch them on. I just replace the lamps on a schedule and usually retain the old ones as spares in the event I blow a light and I can't get to a parts strore right away for a new replacement.

Maybe alternator? had similar problem and had to replace alternator. See if the battery is swelling.
