Key broke in the ignition lock

Hello! The only way to get it out without removing the lock cylinder is to pry it out with a dental pick....If that doesn't work, you'll have to remove the lock cylinder and take it to a locksmith or purchase a new cylinder/key...Locksmith may cost around $50 to remove the remainder of the key...Guru...Saailer I’m happy to help further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/david_6df67de3b14de867

Oil Light stays on.

it sounds like a faulty sending unit the only way to know for sure is to install a mechanical gauge and measure pressure. or just replace the sender. it is not wise to drive it and just assume it is nothing major. if it is a mechanical problem will cost a lot more if you lock the engine up

The lock has fallen inside the driver's side door

Here is a common way to remove your door pannel:

1st, find the screw that is attaching the inside door handle (looks like an armrest) to the door panel. remove this screw. there is also a screw located at the door lever (the device you use to open the door from the inside). remove this screw. after this, slide your door panel up to remove it.

I have a 2007 Chevy

Check the break lamp sensor. I know it sounds weird, but I had the same problem and that fixed it! I think it's like a $15 part from the dealership.

This am i got a clicking noise i put the charger

In some instances the starter is what makes the clicking noise. By putting the charger on it, you may have overloaded the charging system, and blew the starter relay and/or fuse. replace both of these. If the car still does the clicking noise, and does not start, make sure first that the connection on the battery, the starter, and the ground on the chassi (frame) are clean and secure. This will cause a battery to lose it's charge, and the battery to go dead. However, before charging the battery, ensure that these are all clean, relay and fuse(s) for starter and ignition are good. If the car does not start, rather than charging the battery, jump start the car with jumper cables (other car). If the car starts, pull both terminals off the battery - if the car stays running, the alternator is good. If it does not, the alternator is bad and needs replaced. Be careful however disconnecting the battery as these newer cars (some) have codes for the stereo system that must be known for the stereo to work again - if your car has a factory/dealership alarm system, then you most likely have this system. I suggest, first and foremost inquiring with your dealership as to wether or not you'll need this code for your stereo.

When i going tom replace

Spark plug tube seals are leaking and need replaced along with the valve cover gasket. Any parts store should be able to get them for you. if left unrepaired it will eventually cause misfiring.

I have a 2007 chev

Hi marcieandber! I too am having the same problem, when I took my car into the shop for a different problem I was having, I was told that it was the light bulbs and the entire shifter assembly would have to be replaced ($300 just for the part) because the lights are LED and are attached to it. I am currently looking into seeing if it's the lamp that needs to be replaced, thank goodness my dad is a technician (mechanic) and he plans to look further into it. If it is that, I'll keep you posted! This is really frustrating!

A dealership is trying to

The Stealership, I mean Dealership will always charge higher than a Independent Shop. I would find a Repair Shop recommended by a friend or AAA and have it repaired there. A rebuilt Alternator from AutoZone with a Lifetime Warranty will cost you $189.00 plus probably two hours labor at $90.00 an hour average at a Independent Shop. You should be spending no more than $400 total. So yes you are paying too much, but Dealerships always charge more because of their high overhead.

Brake light are out

First check your fuses and bulbs, if they are good use a voltmeter to check for continuity at the lights, if your not getting power to them you may need to replace the brake light switch whitch shoud be located under the dash in front of the brake peddal if the switych is good then you have a short in the wiring and will either have to trace it out or run new wires back to your lights.
