Put diode in wrong spots in fuse block.

There are two fuses that are next to it, one is a head light and the other is a fog light, those would hot all the time. There is a fuseablle link or a bigger fuse feeding this box. You can look for a whole wiring diagram on autozones site if you make a free account and look for the repair guides, then electrical. If not you need to get a Haynes manual or go to all data using the link from autozone. These wont be free.

I have a 2006 saturn ion-2 the battery keeps dying and wont stay charged. Whats going on with it?

If the battery is new, and you are sure it is ok, either the alternator is not charging the battery or there is something in the car that is using power when the key is off.You could disconnect the battery at night to see if it stays charged, and-or have the alternator output checked.

Battery died now wont start

the security system need to be reset, plug your charger back on the battery then turn the ignition switch on and leave it on untill the security warning light turns off (about 10 to 20 Min) then turn the key to off wait 5sec then turn the car on it should be good to go, this solves this kind of problem 9 out of 10. good luck
