IAC was a good guess... ALSO sounds more like a throttle position sensor... (TPS is my GUESS... but it is your MONEY and this EASTER-EGG hunting style trouble shooting can typically cause MORE TROUBLES than fixing). (( but still preferred over taking it to a "DEALER" )). My BEST suggestion... Get your codes read... and AVOID the pitfall of needlessly replacing those rather expensive OXYGEN SENSORS ($$$$)... I would still try and update first or reboot it is so equipped , If this is unsuccessful then you can explore other options. start at the cheapest and work up

When that code shows up, it normally means that the O2 sensor is bad, or there is a bad connection or burnt wire. All of which are corrected with replacement of the O2 sensor.

I need more information. Is the shifter slack and floppy or can you feel it selecting gears?

Check the bulbs again. They can be plugged in two different ways. Sometimes when their put in wrong, the fault you described will occur.

more than likely you have a short check all dash wires the are close to anything they can rub on for a bare wire checking for shorts is like having a care of hemorrhoids you can do very nicely without them

try removing the pads and the piston may have a cross or a slot it will to tough to start with but screw that piston back into the calliper housing that should bring the shoes back in far enough to get the rotor off

back to the flywheel pick up if that is what initiates the spark
