find a local junkyard or wreckers and buy the lowest mileage one you can find. fix it then trade it for a reliable toyota

mopar.com should have your owners manual. The fuse box, drivers side end of dash. cavity 3--20 amp, so says your owners manual.

457 is loose gas cap page 9-2 in the service manual. 456 is EVAP leak, small,. saMe loose cap this is like the #1 failure off every car here from 1996 to now. loss cap. reset the DTC using scan tool put the cap tight, and drive. if comes back then cap is bad. if still comes back the tank venting system does leak. for sure there is a leak only WHAT is not known in a shop they do leak down test , if pass , the cap was bad. or loose.

I believe these units require that the key and switch be matched to the ECU, so you may have to have the dealer reprogram the ECU, or use the ECU from the donor vehicle.

could be as simple as broken wire to needing sensors and or abs pump.... you need to scan to find the problem..... this should be repaired because it helps you breaking and stopping in the winter or wet pavement.

Have you run a OBD2 fault code test? Does it have spark? does it have fuel pressure?

lightly?seems not... does it crank robustly or not? no car starts ,if cranking dies un less my car, push started or gavity started. check fuse first. read how to do that? using meter? then check battery voltage , 12.6v rested. of ok and lugs clean there then turn key to on does the cluster CEL lamp glow, if not fuses did blow. ok now crank,, does it crank fast? yes/no>? i once was rear ended with fast sally mustang (texting sure) huge plastic front end, on this car, 50mph hit me, not so good her car looked ok, the plastic bs popped back looking ok! but if you pop the hood, it was wreck inside. as expected. so lightly has degrees, as does all damage.
