2005 Ford Mustang GT Questions & Answers
I have a 2005 Mustang GT, its consistantly had 02 sensor codes for bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1. But recently also pulled up, p0122, p0223, p0455, p2100, p2110, p2195, p2197, and p0053. I know some deal with tps, but I dont know what to look for or where to start in order to fix it.
List of new parts: purge solenoid, purge valve, evap canister hoses, plugs about 6 months ago, coils about 6 months ago, fuel pump, tps about a year ago, 02 sensors(OEM), cleaned throttle body.
Do yourself a favor an take it to a qualified repair shop

Are you familiar with electronic throttle control ? You have a dc electric motor on the throttle body an at the gas pedal there are APP pedal position sensors that send voltage signals to the PCM which in turn controls the electric motor opening an closing the throttle ! By what this P02112 states the throttle plate is binding , which means it could be bad or just needs to be cleaned ! You will need to disconnect the electrical connector an see if it is binding by pushing it with finger or thumb . which is ever easiest !

How do i hook my pioneer radio in place of a shaker 500
You should be able to buy a adapter for the OEM plug in the vehicle player unit to the player unit of your choice.
That is if a butcher has not already been to work on the OEM wiring. Then that is a whole different story.

Wiring diagram for driver side power seat on 2005 Mustange gt convert.
if there was no electrical work done on it you don't need a diagram it sounds like you need to unplug the seats connector clean it and use conductive grease on the female part of it a little grease goes a long way if still no luck go to the switch for the seat and do the same thing this should solve the problem it's not the cable because the seat uses the same one to go forward and back and it's not the motor so either the switch has a dirty connector or the contacts inside the switch need to be lubed or it needs to be replaced altogether or the seat motor connector needs to be cleaned and lubed either way this sounds like a contact problem make sure they are shiny clean then lubricate with carbon conductive grease not dielectric that's the wrong stuff and it will stop the contact from being made you can also use those emery board nail files that your mom or girls use they can be trimmed to fit inside and do a great job of sanding away electrical oxidation and contact burns that stop the electrical current from going through the switch they need to be shiny and lubricated have fun and good luck you should find your problem now post back with results o.k.stephen

The engine starts but does not accelerate
Sounds like the throttle by wire system isn't working. If the check engine light is on get the code. U can go to autozone or advanced auto to get this service for free if u don't have a scanner. If it's not on unhook both the battery cables from the battery and hold them together this will remove any electrical "gremlins" that maybe causing the problem.
