Ive replaced the cv shaft but the noise is still their...any ideas?
Have you checked the front wheel bearings? I've seen similar problems on several front wheel drive cars. On my first experience, we also started by changing the CV joints only to find it did not solve the problem. We then though it was a transmission problem.... wrong again. Finally checked the front wheel bearings (Both sides) and found the passenger side was making the noise. Bearing replaced (not cheap by the way) but solved the problem.

Hi Michelle,
This is Ivy with CarMD.com Corp. We saw your question and
passed it on to our ASE Certified Technical Support team for review. We noticed
that you have not had a chance to run a CarMD diagnostic report for your
vehicle to get detailed solutions. At this moment, we highly suggest that you
do not drive your vehicle. If you continue to drive your vehicle in its current
condition, you could cause more damage to your vehicle. Not to worry though, our
lead technician will contact you shortly and help you with any questions you
may have for your vehicle and CarMD report.
Please feel free to contact us at 1-888-692-2763 (option 4)

Ford focus lock broken?
This sounds like a bad lock actuator, this is the part that locks the door with the power locks button or the remote. you will need to remove the rear door panel and dissconnect the actuator, this way you will be able to lock it with the key but the power lock will not work on the door,
Is it bad for the exhaust to spit out water?
A cold morning start normally withe a perfect fuel tuning will have water come out from the exhaust as drops or has fumes. But if you sense there is a heavy flow with a possible engine missing then the oil within the engine must be checked to confirm if there is any damage on the enigne block or the water gaskets. Make sure that the oil sensor switch connection is intact.
