P0345 and p0349

Since you didn't post the engine size, or the year, I am taking a stab at your year, which the codes cover several: P0345-Camshaft position sensor A circuit P0349-Camshaft position sensor A circuit intermittent Check the harness to the sensor for any damage, scrapes, dents...something in your harness may be causing the intermittent fault to log in.

I just purchased a 2007 Ford expedition max and it will not start it fires over and over but just won't catch. I replaced the fuel filter and it has brand new fuel in it I even drained the gas line

So it's cranking and trying but not actually running? No codes does suggest a fuel supply issue. The injectors could be clogged or dirty. If it has been stood for a few months the old fuel in it may have gone bad. When modern fuels get old it can leave a varnish like finish in the fuel system causing clogging issues. Another thing to check is the fuel pump. A failing pump can cause this sort of problem.

Interior lights blink off and on, does not stop

Interior lights blink off and on ????? As in dome lamps, dash light's etc...??? An what the heck is this mean We were told to hinge the module?????? I have been an automotive technician over 30 yr's an never heard the term hinge the module. The interior lighting on your vehicle is controlled by the smart junction box , ford's BCM body control module . ( Electronic's ) Who checked the vehicle ? Dealer ? Interior Lighting The interior lighting system consists of the following:
  • Smart junction box (SJB)
  • Interior/map lamp assembly
  • Rail lamps (if equipped)
  • Glove compartment lamp assembly
  • Dimmer switch
  • Illuminated vanity mirrors (if equipped)
  • Rear cargo lamp
  • Puddle lamps (if equipped)
  • Door ajar switches
  • Liftgate glass ajar switch
The interior lighting system consists of 2 subsystems:
  • Courtesy lamps
  • Demand lamps
The courtesy lamps are controlled by the SJB. The courtesy lamp subsystem consists of the ajar switches, the interior dome lamps, the puddle lamps, the roof rail lamps, the cargo lamp, and the overhead console lamps (if equipped). The SJB supplies voltage to the courtesy lamps when the SJB receives the required input. The demand lamps subsystem consists of the glove compartment lamp, the dimmer switch, the cargo lamp, all map/reading lamps, the roof rail lamps, and the LH and RH vanity mirror lamps. The SJB supplies power to the interior lighting system. The SJB sets DTCs if certain circuit failures exist with the interior lighting system. Visual Inspection Chart Mechanical Electrical

I have a 97 expedition xlt someone tried to steal it and destroyed the ignition cylinder and the wiring to the PATS module. Whst do i do get my truck to start again

You'll need a new lock cylinder, starter switch module, and either a replacement steering column wiring harness or a box full of crimp connectors to patch the wiring back together. Before you patch the wiring, make sure it will still fit in steering column when you're done; it's usually a rather tight fit to begin with. Your best source would be a salvage yard. Check car-parts.com to see who has these parts available (the lock cylinder will either have to be rekeyed by a locksmith to fit your existing key, or you'll need to get keys with it).

Getting my 97 Ford expedition into neutral without a key

Brake-shift interlock The brake-shift interlock feature prevents you from shifting from P(Park) unless the brake pedal is depressed (with the ignition in the On position). If you cannot move the gearshift out of P(Park) with the brake pedal depressed: 1. Turn ignition key to Off. 2. Apply the parking brake. 3. Turn ignition key to Lock and remove the key. 4. Re-insert the ignition key and turn it to Off. 5. Shift the transmission to N(Neutral). 6. Start the vehicle. If you need to use the above procedure, it is possible that a fuse has blown and your brakelamps may not be functioning. Refer to the Roadside emergencies chapter for instructions on replacing fuses.

Is there a way to reset the GEM

You would need a good scan tool to reset the GEM , Fords are notorious for gem module issues .You can see all data and clear codes but most of the issues are related to water getting into fuse panel under dash between the gem and fuse panel terminals . Common issues would be wipers not turning off or coming on without turning the switch , also the chime sometimes shorts and you hear it beeping while driving . What are your issues ?

Can not find heater control valve 2000 expedition

what year? for 2000, there are no control valves. It mixes a/c air with heater core air to blend the right temp.

SECTION 412-02: Heating and Ventilation 2000 Expedition/Navigator Workshop Manual
DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION Heating/Defrosting The heating and defrosting system has the following features:
  • Controls the temperature and, during A/C operation, reduces the relative humidity of the air inside the vehicle.
  • Delivers heated or cooled air to maintain the vehicle interior temperature and comfort level.
  • Controls the A/C blower motor speed.
  • Cooling or heating can be adjusted to maintain the desired temperature.
  • Uses a reheat method to provide conditioned air to the passenger compartment.
  • The blower motor draws outside air through the A/C recirculating air duct, except for MAX A/C cooling, when recirculated air is used.
  • All airflow from the blower motor passes through the A/C evaporator core.
  • The temperature is then regulated by reheating a portion of the air and blending it with the remaining cool air to the desired temperature.
  • The temperature blending is controlled by the temperature blend door, which regulates the amount of air that flows through and around the heater core, where it is then mixed and distributed.
