There's a plastic latch that needs to be pulled down, pull it down. U may notice resistance after a short bit. At that point when u pull down wabble the plug a bit so u can fully depress plastic latch. To release plug. By pull down I mean puttig the latch twards the transmission.

Try raising wheel off the ground and rotating it, movement should be smooth and pretty queit , swap to other side to check. If it was the bearing I woyuld expect you to have a droning noise even when going straight. Check suspension, it should stop moving up and down after 1 sycle of up and down. There are rubber bushes between many parts of steering that can degrade and no longer work, look for spaces around them and for cracks in the rubber, note that if 1 side has failed the other should be replaced at the same time.

You might need a new wheel hub. My experience is some sensor r built into the hubs. May not be a do it yourself deal depending on your skill level

Follow the lower radiator hose to the water pump on the front of the engine. It has a pulley on it that your fan belt go'es on and turns the pump. It should also have a 1" heater hose that goes to it. Hope this helps Mike

Have the engine light codes scanned for problems. The vehicle may be in limp mode causing the transmission to start off in second or third gear causing slow pick up.

It's a pain but a fun project for a rainy day. If you remove the inside door panel you can get at the linkage to see what needs to be re-connected. Sorry but I don't have any shortcuts for this one.

Go to the dealer- The compass module is already installed in the car, however, the Infotainment system wasn't configured to acknowledge/control it. Have the technician flash an updated version of the software.
