That code refers to a fault in the computer controlled thermostat. AutoZone sells a replacement for about $90.00. It is possible it is a wiring issue, but I doubt it. Do some research, but that is what the code refers to.

Look under the dash. under the steering column. you will see a black box with a little antenna, it has a white plug in it about 3 inches long. just unplug that. it unhooks the alarm .. it worked for me.
Hi my chev aveo wont start when I switch it off and try to start it again. Can you please explain that.
When does it restart again ? After sitting how long ? A hour , over night etc..... How long do you have to drive it till this problem happens . Just till warmed up ? Electronic parts like ignition modules , crankshaft position sensors , control module etc... when starting to fail will cause problems like that . Is the check engine light on ? Could be a fuel related problem too , is hot or cold where your at . Do the cooling fans work ? What is the temp .of the engine ? Cold , warm , hot etc... I need a lot of info . to give you a answer . What would be best , if you took your vehicle to a qualified repair shop . Tell them , let them experience the problem an do testing , hook up a scan tool to look at engine sensor data parameters . Could be a failing coolant temp. sensor . You could spend lots of money just replacing parts , given all the answers you will get on here . What are you qualification to fix modern automobiles ? Do you have basic automotive electrical trouble shooting skills ? Ever work as a automotive Tech.
Determining reason for check engine light in 06 chevy aveo
possible oil pressure switch, oil pump itself, or rod bearing issues due to poor oil change history. (that last one is more of a knock that a tick)
Sounds for sure like you aren't getting the proper oil pressure and the ticking would most likely be the cam/rockers/valves letting you know they need more oil on them.
