How do I know if my flasher relay is bad? Symptom of a bad or failing turn signal / hazard flasher is hazards or turn signal lights that do not function. P200A Intake Manifold Runner Performance The Variable Charge Motion Actuator (VCMA) is used to adjust a valve (flap) in the intake runner for each cylinder. The valve does not close off the runner but restricts it in such a way to cause turbulence (swirl) in the air fuel mixture. The turbulence in the air will reduce emissions under cold start condition. The valve is operated by a worm gear type driver which doesn't open for limp home mode in the case of loss of current supply. (It doesn't have a return spring.) The system also has a Valve Position Sensor (VPS) to supply a feedback of the valve position to the PCM.

You probably will need a shop to look at and test the charging system. It could be as simple as a loose connection, or something more serious. The newer systems often have the computer, the ecu, controlling the alternator and how much it charges. So it's no longer just either the battery or the alternator being at fault. It depends on the manufacturer and how the system is designed. I don't know about Kia, but any repair shop could find the information.

I vote for Clockspring, the device that takes current from the fixed column to the wheel. Possible to replace as weekend mechanic, but remove power at battery first because of risk of airbag deployment at wrong time.

if broken replace its a simple cable release mechanism that is bolted into place

Check the connection from the radio to the antenna.May not be plugged in.
