I am working on a 2013 Chevy Equinox I need the flywheel to torque converter bolt torque specs. I can only find the flywheel bolt torque specs. Please help!!

One ugga dugga should suffice. Make sure you use lock tight to prevent them from coming loose though.

    There is an electrical buzzing sound in my 2005 Equinox lt as soon as I turn the key on. The vehicle starts with no issues. I put a new battery in recently. Any suggestions how I can get rid of it?

    You will need to determine what circuit the noise is coming from. Turn each switch on and off to see if something will affect the noise. Some relay may be malfunctioning. Like the horn relay, A/C Relay, Fuel Relay, Hazard light Flashers, or some heater control.

    The car & padlock symbol is telling you the anti-theft system has a problem , that's why it won't start . You really should have a qualified repair shop check it out .

    Installing repair kit for hear acuator on 2006 equinox. ready to slide new part on cut shaft but seems to small around

    I couldn't find anything related to the heat actuator replacement in the Equinox service manual but assuming you have bored out the hole by now to make it fit, I did find a calibration step that should be performed before touching anything in the heating, defrost and A/C section of air distribution. Here is a paste from the GM service manual; Prior to or after any replacement of HVAC components including A/C compressor make sure to calibrate HVAC module using the following procedure. 1. - Calibrate the HVAC control by simultaneously depressing the A/C and re-circulation buttons three times in a period of less than two seconds, allow 15 seconds to complete calibration. Perform with ignition on. 2. - Verify A/C and re-circulation LEDs are flashing during calibration 3. - After calibration is complete, depress A/C or re-circulation button and make sure the LED state changes and all modes operate properly (if lit, LED will be off after button is cycled or vice-versa). If state does not change, follow published diagnosis.)

    Cylinder and firing order for a 2011 Chevy Equinox with 2.4liter 4 cylinder engine.

    Firing order is correct, (1, 3, 4, 2). Cylinders are numbered as 1, 2, 3, 4. Number One cylinder is nearest the belts and pulleys and number 4 is nearest the transmission/gearbox end. Stand in front of the car and face the rear of the vehicle. Cylinder 1 is to your left and Cylinder 4 is to your right.

    How long to change serpentine on chevy equinox ls 2006

    It would probably take a competent mechanic an hour to change. I do not have my program in front of me that shows book time, but you have to remove the air filter housing and the front motor mount to get to the belt and tensioner.

    2012 Chevrolet Equinox 2.4. Engine power reduced and stabilitrac message. Scanned codes. P0016, p0089, p228d fuel pressure regulator. Fuel pressure too high. A lot of people said they had this message, cleaned the throttle body and it was fixed. I cleaned throttle body. Started the car and it ran rough for 10 to 15 seconds and died. Now car will not start. Obviously not throttle body issue. The part on the fuel rail that looks like a fuel regulator is called a high pressure fuel pump. Seems that the regulator if there is one is in the tank with the main pump. Weird design. I don't want to buy parts that I don't need. If the fuel pressure is too high it seems that the high fuel pressure pump is working or it would be too low. Any ideas.

    Does not have a fuel pressure regulator . Fuel pressure is controlled electronically by the fuel pump control module an a fuel rail pressure sensor . Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop. You have no clue what's up an won't learn here . Engine power reduced and stabilitrac message ??? this is a problem caused by the electronic throttle control system . Gas pedal has position sensors that are a direct link to the engine computer , throttle position sensors in the throttle body also are hooked to the PCM / ECM - engine computer . Throttle body also has a D/C motor that controls the position of the throttle plate . Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System Description The throttle actuator control (TAC) system is used to improve emissions, fuel economy, and driveability. The TAC system eliminates the mechanical link between the accelerator pedal and the throttle plate. The TAC system eliminates the need for a cruise control module and idle air control motor. The following is a list of TAC system components: ?€¢ The accelerator pedal assembly includes the following components:

    - The accelerator pedal

    - The accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor 1

    - The APP sensor 2

    ?€¢ The throttle body assembly includes the following components:

    - The throttle position (TP) sensor 1

    - The TP sensor 2

    - The throttle actuator motor

    - The throttle plate

    ?€¢ The engine control module (ECM)

    The ECM monitors the driver demand for acceleration with 2 APP sensors. The APP sensor 1 signal voltage range is from about 0.98-4.16 volts as the accelerator pedal is moved from the rest pedal position to the full pedal travel position. The APP sensor 2 range is from about 0.49-2.08 volts as the accelerator pedal is moved from the rest pedal position to the full pedal travel position. The ECM processes this information along with other sensor inputs to command the throttle plate to a certain position. The throttle plate is controlled with a direct current motor called a throttle actuator control motor. The ECM can move this motor in the forward or reverse direction by controlling battery voltage and/or ground to 2 internal drivers. The throttle plate is held at a 7 percent rest position using a constant force return spring. This spring holds the throttle plate to the rest position when there is no current flowing to the actuator motor. The ECM monitors the throttle plate angle with 2 TP sensors. The TP sensor 1 signal voltage range is from about 4.86-0.86 volts as the throttle plate is moved from 0 percent to wide open throttle (WOT). The TP sensor 2 voltage range is from about 0.82-4.14 volts as the throttle plate is moved from 0 percent to WOT. The ECM performs diagnostics that monitor the voltage levels of both APP sensors, both TP sensors, and the throttle actuator control motor circuit. It also monitors the spring return rate of both return springs that are housed internal to the throttle body assembly. These diagnostics are performed at different times based on whether the engine is running, not running, or whether the ECM is currently in a throttle body relearn procedure. Every ignition cycle, the ECM performs a quick throttle return spring test to make sure the throttle plate can return to the 7 percent rest position from the 0 percent position. This is to ensure that the throttle plate can be brought to the rest position in case of an actuator motor circuit failure. Observe, under cold conditions, the ECM commands the throttle plate to 7 percent with the ignition ON and the engine OFF to release any ice that may have formed on the throttle plate.

    I have a 2015 Chevy Equinox my rear defogger quit working somehow the light comes on but it's not clearing it. Any ideas for in suggestions and where can I find the fuse panel and which one might it be please and thank you

    You can see fuse, correct. With rear defogger turned on, use test light, see if any voltage at fuse or if fuse is blown? Also, check continuity on defogger grid, if no continuity, there is a break in the grid.
