2011 Chevrolet Equinox - Page 4 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

Did you get an answer to this question? Our 2014 Equinox is "beeping" from under the hood after shutting it off. Also seems to have started only during COLD weather. No it doesn't have anything to do with steering or suspension components. It is an audible beep noise or chirp noise. Thanks in advance.

To replace:

1. Turn the tire to reach the access

port cap located on front of

wheel well cover.

2. Remove stop screw and turn

I recently replaced the turn signal switch on my 2008 Equinox. I searched on the internet and found a Utube short video on how to replace it.

Check transmission fluid level.

take it apart and reassemble it sounds like something is not in rite

Temperature door motor inoperative. Check fuses

With a lot of patience is the only advise i can give here,not even shown in a haynes manual so you disconnect the battery and follow your instincts

No way to guess at it You have to check for codes & diagnose the system that set the code or follow trouble charts as to why the switch light does or doesn't come on

Same as any dash light you have come on, after the motor is running You have a possible system fault Have to check for codes, just like all the other problems you have had for decades, with any vehicle After you get the codes, a shop has to diagnose the Evap System problem You do have an owners manual you can read !

First of all, you show a picture of an Equinox, but your question appears to be for a Traverse. If for a Traverse, there is a fuse box beneath the instrument panel, all the way to the right on the passenger side. Pull down on the small cover to reveal the fuse box. The Windsheild washer fuse is a 10a in the upper left position in the box. GM has decided that it would like to screw unskilled owners to getthem to the dealership for such things, by jamming the fuse box into a position that makes it very difficult to remove the fuses. Once you expose the fuses, just get in there with needle nose pliers and pull the fuse out to replace it.
