This light should blink when the vehicle is shut off, but it should stop blinking after the vehicle is started. If it doesnt stop blinking when vehicle is running, i would suggest taking it back to the dealer, there may be something that needs to be reset.

Hope this helps..

I have a similar problem. The key goes in all the electronics turn on but the car does not turn over and start. Dealer says its the security in the key it's been in the shop for 7 days and I still don't have it back yet. I am waiting on a recalled key so I must not be the only one with the problem.

I would bring it back to your dealer
you should be covered.
and if it has to do with any emissions problem or and thing to effect emission all cars have extended warranties by law.

Sorry can't help much - there is a variety of methods used to provide height adjustment and as usual the best way of discovering why something doesn't work is to discover how it should work and in the absence of information, removing the seat and studying the mechanism seems favourite.

Removing a seat is fairly straightforward but where airbag or active seatbelt pretensioners need to be disconnected the usual safety precautions should be observed - disconnect the battery an hour before you start work to allow the electronics to fully discharge.

If you look on the sides of the seat ( you might have to remove a plastic cover) there are teeth on both sides with a plunger type that when you push or pull the lever disengages and let's the back of the seat most backwards or frontwards. Sound like the piece between the lever and plunger is broken. If you watch it and move the lever you should be able to see if nothing is moving or maybe just one side. Both sides must disengage at the same time to allow the seat back to come back up. You might be able to disengage it with a screw driver but if so get it where you want it and leave it there until it's fixed properly. Hope this helps you.
