Check the idle air control valve. It goes off as soon as the vehicle warms up or is rev. up.

need more info than that, where does the smell come from and under what conditions does it smell e.g comes from trunk when I first start car etc. the easy answer is you keep leaving eggs in your car to rot. need specifics

Heater flap? Actually my 93 Chevy has been doing that for about 2 years. I can plug the flap for a short time. Then it sounds like a ticking clock sort of in glove box.-lol. Goes away after about 15 seconds? My guess-sounds like the same issue I have. Nothing to worry about. Easy fix if it really bothers you. Check oil level. If empty, your clicking maybe a bad engine bearing. It pays to get consistent, timely factory recommended service.

Does the transmission shift OK?.....Is the check engine lamp on??? The speedometer gets its signal from the ABS or transmission ECU..If either one of those components is not sending the signal...the check engine lamp and/or ABS lamp should be illuminated...if not...the cluster may be at fault...check your fuse assignment to ensure the speedometer does not have a fuse of its own.....A scan with a good scanner will inform you of why it is not receiving the signal....The transmission and ABS ECU's will have an output for vehicle speed.....but, as before, a GOOD scanner is required.

Drain engine of coolent,,,drill small hole,,, get a wood screw a little bigger than the hole,,, make sure it fitts tight,,,take small pry bar, under head of screw and pry out,,,, method 2...drive a screwdriver threw it and pry out,,, if it goes inside just turn it sideways and pry out,,or use pliers to pull out,,not to hard if you have room to work, to replace,,,got to auto zone or simular place, get a rubber expandable freeze plug,,, the right size,,, tight nut in center to seal,,,,rubber freeze plugs are used on boats. For winterrizing,,They work great,,,, i have just drove the feeze plug in and left it in head or block,,,should not hurt anything,, if its in a tight place

by replacing the battery ,it is possible that the CPU program has become corrupted . Try using a scanner to rest the program

Get the correct replacement battery and be sure to clean the battery cables before replacing them on the new battery. If there is an alarm system be sure to leave a door ajar and do not leave the keys in the ignition. Remove the ground or negative battery cable first and be sure it is also the last one connected.

2. Remove stop screw and turn
