(guessing is near useless, hands on wins) get it serviced comes to mind. right wheel bearings, brake rotors cracked, (dangerous to max) caliper slide seized. caliper pistons sticking? bad pads. or their parts (associated) bad suspension parts. loose lug nuts, and more, if car really old the right 4wd wheel lock bad. if not 2wd. is car 4wd> ? and what year, 1999 they changed big time so......

you might have a blown head gasket, when the engine is cold remove the rad cap start the engine and look for air bubbling into the rad , if you see said bubbles then you need to have the head gasket replaced. PS Do not remove the rad cap when the engine is hot as you could be seriously injured/burnt

It may be the main seal - first I would try to use a seal swell product to stop that leak. Below is a link... This stuff is the cats meow!! it can be used everywhere EXCEPT the brake system! I recommend getting 2 bottles and adding it to the oil ( crankcase) and give it a day to two to take affect. If it stops the leak, you'll need to add it at every oil change. If it does not stop the leak, only new parts will!!

Grand, is a clue. but is not. wiki facts: so what country is your car, we are USA here, and we have not one Baleno here. the Suzuki Baleno throughout Asia, Australasia, and Europe. In India where it was manufactured by Maruti Suzuki, the Cultus Crescent was sold as the Maruti Baleno Ive not seen Every version of every G16 engine suzuki made world wide, only OURS. 1995 to 2007 my wild guess, is your ECU is OBD1 ecu, (do you know?) and as such, there are no scan tools so only the CEL blink codes work. No spark 5 places, 4 sparks dead and coil HV tower term dead. here is the checks. for all early G16

1. fuses good, IG-coil and "FI"????
2. key on head lights work, good turn them off.
3. keyon CEL glows, (not blinks) if dead fuse blown, if flashing Immobilizer is UNHAPPY.
4. CEL glows you crank, its lost spark and all ecu cut fuel no spark.
5. So you insert the diagnostic jumper wire. in the the DLC connnecter under hood and CEL flashes 41 or 42 DTC or?
6. bingo? code 12 is happy code.
7. crank for 5 full seconds to see the cause code.

Check the fuses first and if they are ok it could be the turn signal switch or multi function switch..

you have a scan tool and used it? (shoe drops) pinking= pinging=knocking = detonation. sure. sure , pinging is cause by 2 things, lean AFR, and wrong spark timing. (as a turbo designer that) lol why not use a real scan tool , they are cheap. why not? and report all DTC dont tell me what they mean, tell me the codes. P0300s? etc. the knock sensor may be bad (wires fell of it? is 90%) the AFR stuck lean. the spark timing way off, (check it yet?) you cant fix 2005 cars with no scan tool its not going to happen. short of 2 days, with a meter and scope yes, i can , no im not teaching you here, that. sorry! in usa , are you, with oBD2 compliant cars? if not , that be first word out, no?

the battery is most likely dead

Take the car to an autoparts store and have them scan the computer for fault codes. Most parts stores will do the scan for free. The light comes on when the computer has noted a fault in one of the car's systems. Getting the codes will show the faults that the computer has noted so that you can remedy the problem. wow, no year car stated ! the car has no wheel end locks, like old cars, it has a center front diff, lock, that operates via a pump. the FSM covers the tests here, in most cases, if power makes it (12v) to the pump , then its the pump is bad. never the axle. the fsm test shows using a small t'fitting, and small pressure guage they engages 4wd if that fails, check voltage to pump. pumps can be , dead, weak or good, so.... that is how the tests are done to see which it is. all very easy. log in to alldata.com and read how to do the test or buy a real fsm and read that.
