Hi, the key fob has contacts on a circuit board, much like a remote control for a tv, or a calculator. These contacts are what the buttons touch, to make it work. the buttons, or contacts may be dirty, with a carbon film on them causing the two buttons not to work, leaving only 1 functional. If you take it apart, much like putting a new battery in, you can actually pop out the green circuit board, and see the contacts. These can be cleaned with a pencil eraser. Try cleaning the contacts, and the back side of the buttons. A re program is not in order, because you have 1 function, and will either work as a whole, or none at all. If cleaning does not work, You may need a new fob. Good luck...coop442000

I believe your transmission is slipping. Contact an authorized Saturn service center to have this evaluated.

You likely have a blown fuse. I have heard using the cigarette lighter for charging your cell phone can blow the fuse - was told to use the charger inside the center console for charging my cell phone.

There is a software update that you will need to have the dealer apply. I had the same problem and it was fixed in 45 minutes.

Interesting. My best guess is that there is problem with driver's door lock actuator or switch. The remote start won't work because the car has to confirm that the doors are locked before initiating the starting sequence.

Forgive me if I seem to be over simplifying, but have you have you tried rotating the knob to left of the steering wheel (below the a/c vent)? If you rotate it all the way clockwise, it 'clicks' and the dome lamp comes on. Rotate counterclockwise and the dome lamp goes off and you adjust the brightness of the interior lights.

Assuming that you don't want to replace the fobs, you can get them working by placing the battery in the cage and then placing the cage back into it's original position. Be sure that both contact points are lined up. You can either tape the whole thing down or use a folded post it note as shim to hold everything tight (trickier to assemble but cleaner). Then carefully snap the whole thing together.
If you are still under warranty, it wouldn't hurt to ask the dealership to replace the fobs. You may even try another GM brand like Chevrolet as they may be more willing to try to catch your business as Saturn winds down.

Today's vehicles do not provide a way to check trans fluid, they are now considered a sealed unit. Some vehicles have a tube to add fluid, but it the manufacture placed a cap over this tube. Some vehicles don't hav any tube at all, and fluid must be entered from undere the vehicle. I recommend you have a tech check the source of this leak as soon as possible. Right now it seems your trans is slipping due to loss of fluid.
If you have a warranty on this vehicle, you should be in good shape with any out of pocket cost. Good luck.

I found that on my 2008 Saturn Aura (4 button DIC) that the following steps must take place to reset the oil life:
1) place ignition switch in run position
2) cycle through features by pressing the info button until the oil life is illuminated
3) depress all 4 DIC buttons at the same time; instrument panel will read "reset oil life"
4) release all buttons
5) depress bottom button (w/left pointing arrow) and oil life will read "acknowledged"

Good luck
