Very likely a fuel pump and filter problem. Change the pump which has an integrated filter. Use only Delphi (original equipment) or Bosch or VDO pumps. Do not use chinese scrap pumps or Carquest pumps. All junk. See video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gmRG5ECodo

Bad solder joints. Have someone examine the module and check for cracks and bad solder joints. After repairs please spray exposed circuit board with conformal coating to seal and protect it. Problem should go away.

The skim module under the steering column is not sending the transponder code from your key to the engine computer. There are a couple of possible fixes... Replace the faulty skim module and have the keys resynced with the vehicle. (expensive dealer) or... You can remove the skim module, Order a new rebuilt engine computer, the ECM, and install it. Do not install the SKIM back in the car. The ECM should be programmed with your vin number from the rebuilder (many good ones online and on ebay) and install it in the car. Start with your key. The Security light will flash and eventually go out. Sometimes the security light does not go out but the car will continue to run normally. Send back your old computer. Problem solved permanently. You will no longer need a transponder key to start your car. YOu can use all the dummy keys you can buy in walmart. You will dance and sing FREE FREE from the chains of $200 dollar keys LOL. Enjoy.

There is a problem with tbe SKIS (sentry key immobilizer system).If the key symbol flashes, there is a problem with the key. Try an other key if you have one. If the key light is on steady, then there is a malfunction of the system itself. It need to be scanned using DRBIII scanner to know what is failing.

Check for a vacuum hose leak on cylinders #2 and #8. Check those plugs. If black, then possible injector problem

You can buy an adapter from the larger connector to the smaller one and all will be alright. Most parts houses have the adapter. Also you might find it at a super walmart

That is a feature when press on the brake turns engine off....when you depress brake turns back on. It try help the consumer not waste gas when stopping at the lights or a long wait at intersection..... There is a button with A circled arrow with a word OFF that turns that feature off that will keep that car from turning off on you. Hope that help you.

Hard to tell. If it is working now, they must have done something. It could have been a bad connection somewhere.. Sometimes when checking connections, problems go away. Only time will tell. Remember it is important to have both the engine and the body to have good grounds.

So when the engine rpms are faster the lights are brighter and when you brake the rpms are lower and the lights dim and there is a whinning> When it whines, see if it is coming from the alternator. That could be the problem
