is the indicator in the park position really in park ? was the replacement cylinder installed properly? could it be hanging up on locking in steering collum .? try moving steering wheel hard left and right while trying it remove key.

The evos sytem on chevys is the problem,,,evap operating system,,,evos,,, the vent valve soliniod, or vent valve purge,,on the intake of the engine is sticking in the open position,, i cant remember which its called but its the one on the intake,,, what happens is it sticks open position and when you fill your car with gas it pushes all the gas fumes into the intake,,, causeing a flooding ,no start , or hard start situation,,,if you cant or dont want to fix,it, you can leave your car running when getting gas it will be fine ,,which is the cheap fix,,,, the evos system has 4 componets,,, vent valve solinoid, vent valve purge, charcole canister, fuel presure sensor(top of fuel tank) all can be replaced for around 125 bucks if you do some seaching around and doing the labor yourself,,check out you tube,,,

They can not be adjusted the computer regulates them but you can change them out to a bigger or smaller injector the only adjustment you can do is to the computer if you have the program to do so

Sounds as if you may have blown fuses or stuck relay.

follow your upper radiator hose to engine at the end of the hose to engine under that aluminum neck is your thermostat,usually two or three small bolt hold it down,before you take it out,look which way it is sitting there ,so you you don't put backward,or your engine will over haet

I have replaced a lot of thermostats but not in a aveo. Just find the top radiator hose follow to engine where it is connected to the motor is where you will find the thermostat housing. It is in most cases held by two bolts. When you buy the new thermostat see if it has a replaceable gasket and buy it as well.

check to see that the fader swich is not on

You have to replace the headlight bulbs. There are two elements in each bulb one for low beam and both for high beam. The low beam burns out first...

Confused!. how do you know that the starter is good, if the vehicle engine will not turn over?.... Do you mean that the Starter will crank but the engine will not turn over?. If the later is the case then you will have to look a bit deeper it could be your Fly Wheel with flat spot or not likely but possible Starter solenoid not fully engaging the starter to the fly wheel. Is your vehicle an automatic or Standard. If it is a standard then you could try to move the vehicle forward or reverse while in gear just a little and try to start again if the vehicle Starts then you have just verify that you have a faulty flywheel If you mean that the starter does not turn then you may want to look at your starter relay switch and or your neutral safety switch.

Code 12 is for a problem with the cam timing, and code 26 is for a problem with the intake valve control solenoid being out of range. The cam timing would need to be checked along with the control solenoid.

Raise tire pressure to 36psi, install a high air flow ( low restriction/low micron) air filter, and 5/20 full synthetic motor oil. And if you use a/c, set to normal or economy, not max. Also , most states use winter fuel which reduces fuel mileage 10 -15% on most cars.

run fault codes and look for a TCM fault.
