Reduced engine power
LIMP IN MODE re-set your pcm if it re-occurs you may have a transmission slippage issue or a faulty shift selonoid in transmission. with stabilty control feature on some models a bad wheel speed sensor or hub bearing can cause the same but usually accompanied with ABS light

Alternator fuse
All the dealerships have a TSB concerning this very problem. It concerns a possible loose connection at the 175 amp mega fuse located near the passenger side cowl.

Alternator fuse location
there is a 175 amp mega fuse located on the passenger side of the cowl (upper firewall area) Check this fuse, you will likely find it blown. Should be near arrow 2 in the picture below.

Sound like to me it is TPS Switch( Throttle Possitioner Switch). Or Fuel Pump Relay? Either will cause this to happen due to signals picked up by ECM and PCM. Hope this helps you out?

Shuts off when idling
You may have cooked the fuel pump. Or the gauge may be off.I would check fuel pressure with a gauge and make sure you have gas in the tank. Anything less than a quarter of a tank is rough on the pump. It needs liquid gasoline to keep cool and lubed.
