Whistling sound when stepping on accelerator 4m40
I don't know if this is the right place.
But I have a 98 Pajero 4m40. It starts and idles nicely, but upon acceleration, engine sounds terrible, almost like a non turbo L200 engine, even with the intercooler connected and turbo whistling. Please help.

Where isx the fuel pump
Fuel pump relay is near the fuse box, rectangular shape, tap it as someone else cranks the engine, if it starts, then you found your problem, it can also be your coil, make sure you're getting spark.
Are you sure theres no power to the pump, no winding noise when you open the ignition switch?

My mitsubishi 4D56 wouldn't start
did you purge the air from the fuel system, or try to start it with ether? you may want to check the timing again if no fuel is being supplied to the engine.
Can a 2013 Mitsubishi Montero V98 model's brake master pump be replaced with that of V93?
Yes, a 2013 Mitsubishi Montero V98 model's brake master pump can be replaced with that of V93. The main difference between the two models is that the V98 has a built-in reservoir, while the V93 does not. Aside from that, they are functionally identical. So if you're comfortable doing a little DIY work, the swap is a relatively easy one. Just make sure to get the correct pump for your vehicle's year and model. Happy motoring!
