There is no dedicated cam sensor on these devices. The cam position is sensed by the electronics in the distributor.

Behind the bottom portion of the drivers side dash board. There is a fuse box with relays. It should be on the far right of the top row of relays.

ourhowse, you may know cars, but you DON'T know the CRV. Both the automatic and manual transmission have drain plugs basically like the oil pan. Look at several of the online videos.

Dear Dianne, Under the front hood of your Honda is a motor or it is also called an engine. The engine is hooked or fastened to a large container called a transmission, which is also under the front hood. In order to get the car to move, there are 2 steel drive shafts going from the transmission to the front wheels. These drive shafts are about one to 2 feet long, and each one drives a front wheel. That is why there are 2. These steel drive shafts have a large joint at each end of them, so you see why there are 4 joints. The joints attach to the wheel on one end and the transmission on the other end. These 2 steel drive shafts are called cv shafts because they have a CV joint at each end, and these CV joints are a part of the shaft assembly. The CV shafts "transfer" the movement of the engine to the wheels.

The clue is both items do not work. Check the lighting fuse rail.

well 2006 crv had many issues. thats why i went for the brand new 2011 honda cr v ex but even this model seem to have its share of hiccups. anyways i think u need to get ur remote unlocked at a dealer.

I don't have a solution, but the same thing happened to my car. I have a 2007 Honda Accord with a 6 disc cd player and it is reading "Mechanical Error" and it won't work and all my cds are stuck in there.

Check cv joints and check loose bush in diff casewhere the shaft goes in. Try lifting up and down as I think you have a problem with the drive shafts binding up

just do the drain and trans filter, forget the flush, it doesn't replace the filter which is the most important part of a trans service

It could be the pins in the ignition are damaged and need to be replaced. I had the same problem with my 2004 CRV. If you happen to have a skilled locksmith in your area, they can fix it for loads cheaper than an auto mechanic, who would likely want to replace the entire ignition, in which case you'd need new keys programmed and all this other stuff that is time consuming and therefore costly.
