LOW BEAMS NOT WORKING 2002 FORD FOCUS
Hi. i recommend a thorough inspection of the wiring harness and harness connectors that led to the actual headlights. use a volt meter to test the current flow to the connectors. pull the connectors from the back side of the headlights and test all cooper contacts inside the connectors. If the wire contacts all show voltage, this will confirm a switch malfunction. it should be replaced in this case.
Now, if one or more contacts on the wires harness fail to produce any voltage, this will confirm a faulty wiring harness. replace the wiring harness in this case.
Make sure the headlight switch is in the on position when testing the wires.
2003. Transmission torque converter clutch circuit performance or stuck off?
I assume you think the transmission will not go into overdrive. Either the torque converter clutch solenoid has failed, is stuck or is not receiving the signal to activate from the control computer (may be a wiring problem). You can check with a good code reader if there is an error code, and if a signal is being sent to the transmission by using the code reader in live view, but troubleshooting the solenoid should be left to a transmission repair shop as the oil pan must be dropped to get at it.

Wheel nuts on back wheel of 06 ford focus stripped.
Hi Ray,
I put in some time at an auto salvage yard. Aluminum wheels were big sellers and not something we wanted to damage.
When the lug nuts needed some persuading, we got out the high impact 12 pt deep sockets.
First try we used the correct size.
If they were stripped, one size smaller. We hammer them on to the lug and use a breaker bar with a pipe extension.
The only real problems we had were getting the lug nuts out of the sockets.
Good luck and best regards,
Mike

un fotunately you can't get radio code from chassis no. you need unit out don't know what unit you have it will be either m serial no (older unit) or v serial no.(newer unit) could only suggest taking to ford dealer & get them to remove unit to get serial no.
