2003 Chevy Avalanche 1500 Won't Start
It sounds like you aren't using it enough and the battery is losing power. Invest in a battery charger, they are about $20. Mine has 6 amp for a full charge or 2 amps for a trickle charge. charge the battery overnight when you know you are going out. Put it on charge at least every couple of weeks. Lead Acid batteries need to be kept fully charged.
Something may be draining the battery faster than normal. That is called 'parasitic draw'. Hard to diagnose, but can be done.
If the battery does go completely flat, you need to reset the security system.
Finally, many car electrical systems need a full 13 volts to start due to the electronics.

Transmission not going into gear
Check the shift linkage for proper operation and make sure any cables are properly anchored and adjusted.
If the torque converter has no fluid inside, it may not be able to supply the power the transmission needs to shift (I don't know the details of your particular transmission, but those I've worked on needed fluid to transmit power through the torque converter at low speed or not yet moving).
How to fix fallen windows
The window in fixed to a window regulator. When it breaks it lets the window go into the down position. You will need to replace the plastic regulator. Not too hard. There are videos on line to help.

It's in the body control module try a hard reset of the BCM by disconnecting one battery cable and hold that cable on the other for a minute in other words remove the positive cable and hold it on the negative terminal then reconnect after a minute and try it. The other and better option is to connect it to a scanner to see if it's the switch or the BCM. I hope this helps. Take Care.
Replaced tranny. Why does it still have only 1st, 2nd and reverse?
Disconnect the shifting cable from the transmission. With the rear tires off the ground, manually shift the transmission selector into the gears to see if the problem is in the shifter cable assembly.
Depending on what chev you have, you may have a kickdown cable on the throttle assembly that is not adjusted properly.
2007. What does DTC P0442 indicate?
You'll need to check all the connections, pipes and lines in the EVAP system that valve is part of. The system has detected a pressure drop so has flagged up a code for a leak.
